Settle down, it'll all be clear
Don't pay no mind to the demons
They fill you with fear
The trouble-it might drag you down
If you get lost, you can always be found
Just know you're not alone
Cause I'm gonna make this place your home
Home// Phillip Phillips**Liam's POV**
People say losing someone or something can throw your life into perspective. They say that traumatic events change how you view things and that person is right again. Who was I before the accident? Who was the old Liam Payne?...
I strummed my fingers against the table, my chin rested in the palm of my hand as I let out an impatient sigh. My dark chocolate colored eyes darting around the room as I uncomfortably sat in a plastic chair. I probably looked out of place and strangly awkward, not to mention that I was sweating like a whale. Suddenly a bubbly little girl with wild waist length curls ran out from a room, clutching a pair of pink ballet flats on her hand. "Daddy, I'm getting better at my pirouettes.." My daughter announced proudly, using her free hand to sassily flip her curls from her shoulders.
"That's so good Bella, hit me!" I responded enthusiastically, holding up my hand as Arabella smacked it, her lips spreading into a happy grin. Once I thanked the dance teacher me and Arabella were on our way to our weekly Sunday dinners with Harry and Louis and Niall. For the past three years we were all committed to having dinner at least once a week, to keep his memory alive. It was unbelievable that three years had gone by since his death. Arabella recently turned Seven and was just like Danielle each minute. Strange enough she didn't take on many of my features. Her hair mimiced her mothers, her big green eyes were still a mystery and her skin tone was almost too light to go along with Danielle's and mine. It didn't bother me though, she had a big heart like mine.
"Uncle Haz and Uncle Lou are bringing their new kitten over, you can help them think of a name." I mumbled casually to Bella, looking back at her through the mirror. Louis and Harry had a rough time after it happened..but now they're as madly in love as ever. The couple had been engaged for half a year and they were settled down together like an elderly couple. Louis stopped modeling and broke all his contracts because he wanted a fresh start. Harry had brought a coffee shop a little while ago. The cute little shop was five minutes away from their house and both boy's owned the shop.
I was broken out of my thoughts when Bella jiggled at the door handle and whined something about having to feed her imaginary gold fish. Finally I realized that we had made it home and shut off the car, unlocking Bella's door and getting out with her. An absent minded smile graced my lips as I watched my daughter skip into our home. "Babe, did you stop and get the ham like I asked?" The sound of Danielle's voice instantly caught my attention.
I chuckled at her impatient tone, opening my arms for the dancer and pulling her close for a quick kiss. "Well we can't have our guests eat each other, right? Make sure you go back out to get it." I nodded at Danielle's request, pressing my lips to her silky pink ones for a lingering kiss. After it happened..the accident I rethought my whole life. It took me two years to fully get over it, and I'll never have a day that goes by without thinking about it.
During the process of trying to heal Danielle supported and helped me and for the sake of our loneliness and our daughter we decided to get back together about five months ago. We settled down in a quiet New Jersery Neighborhood. Louis and Harry lived down a few streets and we had all made a new friend with the funniest person I have ever met, Niall Horan. Niall lived with two other people in a house right across from ours and we all connected with him easily.
