"LEO! LEO WHERE ARE YOU" I shouted into the never ending darkness. Millions of thoughts ran through my head while I sprinted through the surrounding debree searching for him.

What if he's dead? I mean what are the chances of me finding him?  I continued on seemingly getting no where. I thought this was over, the last blast was years ago. Yet here I am, sprinting  through the void we once called New York.

I stopped, taking a seat and looking around. God this seems pointless. Exhausted, I set my bag down and rested my head back. I heard a slithering sound but I didn't even care, I needed to relax. I suddenly heard a faint yell. I shot up immediately, grabbed my bag and started running towards the voice. Please let this be him.

"LEO IS THAT YOU?" I was out of breath, barley able to continue on.

"NOAH? YES ITS ME!" That was all I needed to hear. I sprinted towards the voice. Did I really find him?

I reached a toppled over building and saw him, he was looking around desperately. I ran over to him, pulling him into my embrace. "I found you.. thank god" I was so relived "I thought I lost you forever"

He pulled back slightly, "Noah.. you have to let it go. You have to let me go." His voice was shaky.

"What are you talking about? Let you go?" His face shifted to something more grim.

"I didn't make it. I died after the second blast. You have to let me go." His words rang in my head.

He started speaking again, voice much more sinister. "Let me go Noah" His eyes turning black and his face starting to drip. I pushed back, stumbling over my feet.

His mouth twisted into an unhuman smile "Let me go Noah" He said in a mocking tone. I watched in horror as his body cracked and twisted, he never stopped talking, his voice getting louder each time he repeated the phrase.

He toward above me, his eyes were solid black and his body had morphed into a tall boney figure, blood dripping from his eyes, mouth, everywhere.

"Such a shame," he began, his voice now demonic and scratchy "I was very fond of you  but all good things must come to an end, like your little boyfriends life did." He laughed maniacally.

"No no no, YOUR WRONG HES NOT DEAD! STOP LYING" I shouted, tears streaming down my face.

"Can't accept the truth? Well I guess you can find out for yourself, I am VERY hungry and you look rather appetizing." The last thing I saw was hundreds of razor sharp teeth plummeting towards me, then.. dark. Dark everywhere. In those last moments I could only think of one thing. Him.
