A pale full moon shines it brightness across the sky and the land, where a young fairy princess wonders alone in the garden. Her wings are small on her back, but she knows one day they will grow to be as bright and beautiful in all the land.

She is quite small. She wears a plain white dress with a light blue shimmery fabric over top. Her short wavy blue hair comes up to her shoulders. Her small silver shoes tip toe in the darkened grass.

He strides amongst the dark green trees. He is tall for his age. He wears a black tunic and purple leggings. His small silver light wings reach to his shoulders and flutter when the moon's powerful light pass over them.

The fairy princess leaves the garden through a back gate. She continues her walk through the forest. Far off in the distance, a swift light appears through the darkened tree covered area. The young fairy hurries towards the light. She then finds herself in an open field, covered in moonlight and moonflowers.

She looks around to find the light, but instead she sees him. Another fairy from the other land, which her mother had spoken off had evil intentions and they were not to speak with anyone from there.

As they stare into the others eyes, they circle one another, their steps bringing them closer. She goes to turn away, but he catches her hand and brings her close. Holding her hand lightly, he brings it up in the air to his left and looks down to smile at her. She blushes.

He twirls her around. She starts to smile.

Suddenly, they both are dancing simultaneously. With twirls, leaps, leg kicks and even a dip, they cover the field with their footsteps. However, she is a bit wobbly, and he helps to steady her, with a slight smile on his face.

They end the dance, walking slowly while still staring at each other before they disappear into their respective forests.

The fairy princess mother questions where her daughter has been. She then finds out that her daughter was with the fairy prince of the other land. She forbids her daughter from ever seeing him again.

Later, the queen sets up a strong magical barrier, dividing the lands. The young fairy princess is filled with sorrow that she could never see her prince again.

Time Skip

The fairy princess now spends her time in a part of the garden that has a long swing covered with vines and flowers. She appears a few years older, with how the sorrow in her heart of never seeing her true love again, has now turned her wings a black color. Her blue hair curls past her shoulders, the silver crown of status perched between locks. She wears a strapless purple dress with a long train in the back.

Her head bent, she remembers dancing with the fairy prince all those moons ago. A wave of longing to see his face and feel his hand holding her causes her to quickly let go of the swing and run to the gate, leading out into the forest.

The fairy prince wears a black and purple tunic with black leggings, and purple shoes with black patterns on them. His hair has grown out more, with his bangs covering his forehead. He was there the night the Queen put up the magical barrier. He walked away from the hum of the transparent field separating him from his princess, an indescribable feeling of sadness and loneliness sweeping over him.

Yet, he walked over each day to the barrier, hopeful to see the fairy princess's smile once more.

He leaned against one of the trees, a small sigh escaping him. The moon's fullness lit up his sparkly white wings. The dark meadow showed some small white, pink, and yellow dots of the moonflowers starting to take bloom.

He catches a small bit of movement on the other side of the magical barrier. His eyes widen as the fairy princess arrives at the barrier, appearing beautifully and a bit breathless.

He approaches slowly. She stares at him and at his wings. She then lightly hovers her hands over the barrier, her face looking up to him in earnest. He then places his hands where hers are, a gentle smile over his face.

He then backs up away from the barrier, motioning for her to do the same. She stays back as he begins to work a curious array of magic.

The moonlight from his wings swirl down past his arms, and to his hands. From his hands, he is able to produce a soft white light towards the humming wall.

A hole begins to appears. She gasps, her eyes widening and full of hope.

The light from the fairy prince's hands begin to fade. He then extends his hand out through the barrier. She approaches and accepts his hand, and walks through the new opening. Together they approach the center of the field.

He leads her into the same dance they danced many moons ago. As they gracefully turn each other in the soft, white rays, small and glowing particles from the flowers begin to arise and float in the air. He is gentle with her and her wings, mostly making sure she is safe and having fun. Towards the end, he lifts her up and she reaches for the beams showering their performance.

He gently lowers her back on the ground, and puts his forehead against hers. She looks up at him and smiles. Together, they walk hand in hand to a tree enclosure, and they disappear as the moon beams fade.
