Sandboy 2 --IDENTITY REVEAL--

"Marinette!" Tikki cheered flying out of Marinette's purse. Marinette looked at the kwami with sad eyes. She misses Chat Noir after her rejection. Marinette had on an anti-Akuma charm so she was safe. Tikki didn't know that Adrien rejected Marinette. Marinette played it off as it was okay but she knew it wasn't. Marinette flopped onto her mattress and started crying. The other kwamis swarmed Marinette and went to comfort her.

"I'm fine, everyone. Please, just go inside the miracle box," Saddened Marinette says. All the kwamis look at each other and remain afloat. Tikki glares at them to follow orders and they all go inside the miracle box. Marinette remained in her little ball position until a large crash came outside. An akumatized person was wrecking Paris. Marinette transformed into Ladybug and swung off her patio and met up with Chat Noir. Ladybug wanted to break down but she remained strong, even though her eyes were red and stinging. "Hello, Kitty," Ladybug said. Chat Noir was thinking and was frightened to see Ladybug.

"It's Sandboy again, M'lady," Chat Noir said, kissing Ladybug's hand. Ladybug chuckled at Chat's humor. Chat glanced at Ladybug who usually had bright blue happy eyes, had drained eyes that looked red. "Are you okay, bugaboo?" Chat said to Ladybug. Ladybug pushed the inner sadness she had down. She smiled at him for his concern.

"We'll talk later, Chaton. I think the Akumatized object is the pillow again," Ladybug said. Chat nodded and attacked Sandboy. Sandboy hit Chat Noir with his nightmare sand. Chat fell to the ground in fear of seeing his nightmare. A Ladybug showed up in the corner. Chat looked at the nightmare come to life. He ignored the calling words of his nightmare. Ladybug sighed as she leaped next to Chat Noir only to get hit by sandboy's beam. Chat Blanc appeared in front of Ladybug.

"You never loved me!" Chat Blanc yelled. Ladybug was afraid of it all. Her nightmare was too powerful. Chat Blanc formed his cataclysm. Ladybug screamed in fear. Tears fell down her face in fear. Chat Noir grasped the frightened Ladybug. He held her shaking and crying at the sight of Chat Blanc. Chat Noir glanced at his nightmare that now was gone. He was having his nightmare. Ladybug was weak and hurting. He knew that was his akumatized state. His overprotective state came to him.

"It's not real, M'lady," Chat Noir whispered. Ladybug lay in Chat Noir's arms shaking. Marinette's rejection from Adrien and Ladybug's nightmare haunted her. She listened to Chat's words. She focused and Chat Blanc disappeared. Ladybug sighed in relief. Chat Noir extended his stick and grabbed Sandboy's pillow. Ladybug called a lucky charm to get a blanket. She glanced at the falling Sandboy. Ladybug quickly wrapped the falling Sandboy in the blanket. She was still shaken up but her hero side quickly consumed her. Catching the Akuma and repairing everything, she slumped against a wall. Chat Noir crawled to Ladybug and quickly picked her up. His ring beeped as he carried her. He took Ladybug to the rooftop.

"I know we're going to change back soon, but I need to ask you something," Chat Noir said. Ladybug nodded and she was still shaken up and embarrassed. Chat Noir sighed sitting next to his lady. "There's this girl in my civilian form. I realized a while ago I always saw her differently. We were always just friends but today she told me she loved me. I was so happy to hear she loved me too but I had to reject her to protect her. I want to reveal my identity to her, but I know it's risky. I love her and this may sound weird but she reminds me a lot of you," Chat Noir said. Ladybug sat there and she felt a tear fall down her face. Everyone was finding love but her. "Did I say something wrong, M'lady?" Chat asked the crying Ladybug.

"No, Chaton. I'm happy for you and please play it safe. If you can trust her, then tell her. If not then that's the cost of being a hero. I lost two guys I loved because I'm Ladybug. I broke up with the first guy and made the dumb decision to tell the other I loved him. Chat, I feel sorry for the way I've treated you. I understand how hard rejection is and what I've done is appalling. You come back every time and I love you for it. So please, tell the one you love your identity if you think it's safe. She's a very lucky lady," Ladybug said, standing up. She swung away to her patio and de-transformed into Marinette. Marinette flopped onto her bed after giving Tikki a cookie. Marinette began to sob. She started drifting off to sleep but images of Chat Blanc haunted her. She sat up in a frightful haze. Tikki was asleep so Marinette crawled off her bed and went up to the patio. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Chat Noir. She wiped her tears and looked down. Chat Noir launched himself on her patio. Chat felt nervous that he was about to reveal his identity.

"Hey, Marinette," Chat Noir said. Marinette smiled at Chat's energy, still looking down to hide her red eyes. Chat hugged Marinette sideways. Marinette just stood there still. Chat was excited to see her and he just noticed how upset he made her. Marinette wondered why Chat was here. Shouldn't he be with the other girl, she asked herself. Marinette sighed and turned to Chat Noir.

"Hello, Chat Noir," Marinette said, but not too chirpy. Chat sighed in relief to hear that Marinette wasn't sad. Chat Noir and Marinette often looked out at the stars together. As Chat, he saw it as having a good friend that let him be himself with. As Adrien, he saw it as having someone to finally accept his goofy side. Chat Noir loved Ladybug while Adrien loved Marinette. He sighed looking at Marinette. The Chat side of him was still tied to Ladybug and he wasn't sure he wanted to do this.

"Marinette, you're probably going to hate me for bringing this up but I know why Adrien didn't tell you he loved you back," Chat Noir said gulping down the fear. Marinette stood there frozen trying to cry at the sound of Adrien's name. She turned her head slightly, her anger growing at Chat Noir. Ladybug loved Chat Noir besides being too involved with Adrien as Marinette. It was the same way Chat was about Ladybug and Marinette. Marinette couldn't help but be confused at why Chat was talking about Adrien.

"I never told you anything about him. Did he tell you something?" Marinette asked. She wasn't in the mood to talk about Adrien but made an exception for Chat. Chat Noir sighed and looked out at the stars. Marinette looked back at the moon. A symbol of the love square's love. They both sat in silence before Chat Noir turned Marinette's chin towards him. He was nervous and unsure if he was ready to do this. Marinette was withdrawn and wrapped up about her rejection from Adrien. Marinette focused on Chat's green eyes. They reminded her of Adrien. Marinette was about to tear up but she didn't want to be weak.

"Adrien does love you, Marinette," Chat said. He smiled at Marinette. Marinette couldn't believe what Chat Noir was saying. She felt a tear fall as she tugged her head back from Chat, his claws cutting her chin softly. Marinette grabbed her chin in pain. Chat grabbed her back to comfort her. Chat realized the damage he had done to her, and he regretted rejecting her. He knew he had to make her feel better. Chat Noir transformed into Adrien. Marinette dropped cold at the sight of Adrien. "I love you Marinette. I'm sorry for earlier but I had to protect you. I don't want you to get hurt, and I needed to speak to Ladybug about revealing my Identity," Adrien said. Marinette started chuckling at the pure ridiculousness. Adrien was confused as to why she was laughing. Marinette stepped back leaving her hands on Adrien's chest. Adrien wrapped his hands on hers. The lucky charms clinked together.

"You follow advice well, Chaton," Marinette said winking. Adrien gasped slightly. To know his lady was also the other girl he loved. Adrien grasped Marinette tightly, almost hurting her. Marinette giggled as Adrien hugged her. The pure love was mutual in the air. Tikki was now awake and she and Plagg were absorbing the adorable Adrinette scene. Plagg was eating a piece of camembert while Tikki gagged. Adrien let go of Marinette gently only to wrap his hand on the back of her head. Adrien kisses Marinette passionately, catching her off guard. Marinette embarrassed Adrien's passion by kissing him back. The space between them closed with them and the moon.
