We watched Aladdin.  It's been Grace's favorite since she first watched it and it was the first title out of her mouth when Jude asked for movie requests.  He politely told her that he hadn’t thought to bring it, and she happily told him that she had.  She ran to her room, and within minutes, we were watching Aladdin.  Jude seemed to like it okay, it was obvious that he had seen it before because on more than one instance I had caught him quietly singing along.  Grace sang loudly whenever a song came on, and actually quoted about half of the movie.  I must say, I was impressed.

When the movie was over, Jude told us to go put on tennis shoes and workout clothes and to be back out here in 10.  Grace ran to out room and I followed in her wake.  She grabbed a tiny pair of leggings and a pink T-shirt with the world “princess” written in it in noticeably bubble letter.  I grabbed a pair of black nike pros, a green tank top, and a white sports bra from my suitcase and put it on.  While we were changing, we made a little conversation.

“Grace, how are you doing?  Do you like it here?”  I tried to keep the in my concern voice locked away.  I didn’t want her to know how worried I was about her.

“I’m okay.  We haven’t really been here that long.”  She smiled, her little dimples were apparent.  “I miss dad, though.”  She added.

“Me too, sweetheart.  I’m sure he’s fine.”  I tried my best to sound encouraging, and realized that she wasn't the only one who needed it.
