I never understood what people meant by when they talked about an epic love or a love that consumed them. It never made sense that one person could mean so much to someone. I never believed in love at first sight and I thought soul-mates were just something you read about in books and saw in movies. You honestly don’t realize what is out there until you find that one person that makes you believe in everything you never thought you would. When you meet them, it changes everything. You learn to open up and break down walls you never thought about. You become more invested in one person then you ever knew you could. They come into your life and flip everything upside down in your eyes, they change your thoughts on things, and how you see people. They are the one exception to everything. It consumes you in the best ways and brings out parts of you that you never knew about. The person who you are so in love with, you risk everything for. You don’t think twice about anything for them. You would jump off a bridge for them, it sounds crazy but you fall head over heels for that one person. You learn every little detail about them, their little habits, their corks, how they eat, how they sleep, if they snore or sleep on their stomach instead of their back, if they like coffee or tea, if they prefer fall over summer, if it’s Chevy or ford, Call of Duty over Minecraft, computer games or Xbox. You learn details about them they don’t even know. You learn their flaws, what makes them mad, sad, and happy. You become invested, consumed, by something so amazing and the thing everyone looks for at some point in their life, you read about it in books, see it in movies, on TV. You see it everywhere, little girls dream out their perfect weddings with their friends when they play house. It’s everywhere and honestly I didn’t think about it much until I found the one person I want to be with forever, my fairy tale, my epic love, my soul mate. Hard to believe little old Leann, Finally ready to grow up and finally be with him!!
