Chapter four

(Kouri's POV)

I made my way to the request board in the back of the Fairy Tail guild. I looked up and down the board for a good job to do. I didn't find one to my liking today, mAybe tomorrow. I sighed then went and sat down at one of the benches. Levy scooted way over to me with a book in her hands.

"Hey Kouri~" she sang

"Hey Levyyy" I said mocking her in a less sing-songingly way. Levy is probably the guild member I get along with the best. Her, Mirajane, Lucy and Gray are the members I actually talk to. I am a shy person.

"So, read any new books I haven't?" She asked in anticipation, I smiled at her face of wonder.

"Two Souls? By Luca-senpai have you read that?" I asked and she thought about it and shook he'd head. (Just using a good book I recently read here on Wattpad)

"I have not, is it good?"

"Good? No, I'd say it's great if not amazing" I said happily explaining the book. Lucy walked over and sat next to me. "Hey Lucy" I said turning to my right a bit.

"Hey Kouri, do you want to come on a job with me?" I looked at her a bit confuzed she has never asked to do a job with me. She always goes with Natzu, I think they have a thing.... besides that,

"Sure, what kind of job?"

"A job to get a book and destroy it...." she looked at me,

"I suppose, what kind of book?"

"Your asking Lu-chan a lot of questions Kouri " Levy said teasingly pulling on my sleeve.

"I was just wondering!" I said lightly(lightly meaning hardly even touching her shoulder) punching her shoulder

"Awwwww, Kouri! Your so cute!!" She said smashing me into a hug. I tried to push her away but Lucy joined in to.

"You guys can't leave me out!" She said crushing my other side. I rather dislike being a fragile little ice mage. When they finally let go I stood up.

"So, when are we leaving and where?" She told me the details quickly, I thanked her then left the guild. I walked around a bit before stopping at the stream that goes through town. I sat and watched all the leaves that drifted past me.

"Hey!" Someone called and I jumped. He slid down the hill and sat next to me. "Wassup?" Gray asked, I shrugged and played around with my magic a little. "What's wrong?" He asked, again I shrugged.

"Are you gonna talk to me?" He asked and I nodded, he smiled "doesn't seem like it" I smiled

"Hello Gray." I said quietly.

"How are you, Kouri?"

"Okay, just remembering...."

"Ur?" I nodded

"And Glacia." I smiled sadly, I miss them both. "Y'know Glacia doesn't know what happened..." he looked at me and then at the water.

"It's my fault..." he whispered. I shook my head and scooted closer to him and put my hand on his back

"No it's not, it's nobody's fault except that demon." I said softly, but my voice got more angry the more I had talked. Gray smiled a little, broken smile. I tried to smile but I just frowned, I don't like seeing anyone sad, especially him, or Glacia who I haven't seen in a long time. Gray stood up and I did too.

"Thanks" he said quietly and I looked at the ground

"Same here." I basically whispered and we both walked off in different directions.

I wanted this chapter to have Kouri in it. But I didn't know how, so I just thought about it for a while and this is the outcome I hope you enjoy. Tell me your thoughts about it and what you think should happen next, please. Love you all, Bai
