I’m a dust kick’n high plains tornado
Not squishy and soft like a grape or tomato
I hang in the clouds ‘til I’m ready to drop
Then come in to demolish your house and crop
My angry winds twist with amazing force
Run at right angles from my deadly course
I pick up small cars, shoot straws into trees
Cause people to pray and fall on their knees
Blow up buildings made of concrete block
Open doors even if they’ve been locked
Got some friends that join me on stage
Rain, hail and wind accompany my rage
I’m a dust kick’n high plains tornado
I don’t care if you are person or potato
You think Mother Nature is kind and serene
But she can get downright vicious and mean
I’m a dust kick’n high plains tornado
