Dad said rolling his eyes.
"Um wait how many people gonna come?", Mom called from the kitchen.
"Just us and Ross is going to bring Lily along."
"Come on darling, don't tell me, you did not invite any of your friends"
"Um I just get really bad anxiety around people"
"What kind of anxiety " Dad exclaimed.
"You don't even have to pay bills or rents"
"Heyy!!", a girlish voice came from near the threshold.
"C'mon , Mr Xavier dont be to harsh on her it's her special day!"
Lily always understands me I love being with her and the most awesome thing is she will be together with me in my new school I could feel secure and less anxious.
She hugged me tight and exclaimed

We all started laughing.

Mom pointed towards the silver wrapped box.
I opened it .
"A backpack as you have been shifted to middle school and the day after tommorow is your first day! "
Dad gave me a tee.
"Oh dad c'mon you know I wear Small not extra small ughh"
"ahh I'm sorry" dad said.
Meanwhile I turned behind and saw Ross eating the whole cake alone.
"C'mon Ross it's her birthday let her eat first" lily laughed.
"Um sorry darling"
"C'mon you can have it too"
Ross smashed the cake on our faces for fun .
"Oh Ross ! I needed to upload my picture on Instagram you ruin every thing"
Lily smashed the cake back.
We also started laughing and smashing the cake at each other's faces.
"Um Ross its night dad might be worrying I need to go !"
"Honey I'll drop you wait".
Ross ran to lily . They leaned against the threshold and they kissed each other and said Good bye.
Mom rolled her eyes. While dad already went busy in his phone.
