Midoriya POV:
Hi I am Izumi Midoriya but I go by Izuku now (or Deku). Izumi is my dead name only Kacchan knows it . He promised to keep it a secret if I kept his secret. I should also say that I am bisexual I am also a female to male transgender. But that doesn't matter I have the biggest crush on the prettiest boy in class Shoto Todoroki.
Today is the First day of pride month. Most people are excited but some think people like me shouldn't exist (like my own mother) but I don't care about them. I got my binder and uniform on (yes I wear a male uniform if anyone was asking). I don't like my hair at all. My mom won't let me cut my hair like a boys because she doesn't want her sweet little girls hair looking like a boys. I've been asking her to cut my hair but she says no every single time. I wear my hair in a high ponytail when I am at school or around anyone other then Todoroki he always does my hair for me. He also know I hate it. I really want to tell Todoroki but I am afraid that he won't want to be my friend anymore. He said that he has something to tell me and he will tell me tonight at our weekly study date. wait did I just call it a date! Before I got a chance to even eat breakfast there was a knock at the door
" Izumi could you get the door" Inko calls from her bedroom
I really hate when my mom calls me by my dead name she knows that I am a boy but she can't see that her little baby girl is a boy.
" Yes mom" I yell back
I open the door to find my crush on the other side
"To-Todoroki what are you doing here" I ask making my blush even worse.
" we always walk to school together did you forget" Todoroki replied with a smile I only get to see. He only even smiles when we are alone.
" I didn't forget! I was just deep in thought." I replied embarrassed " I will be right back I just need to grab my backpack" I said shutting the door then running back to room
I went back into my room to grab the last bit of my school stuff
" Have a good day Izumi" my mom said from the doorway of my bedroom
" I am Izuku" I relied pushing past her.
" Izumi I told you to stop wearing that uniform" she yelled at me but I already shut the door.
When we were out of my apartment complex Todoroki spook
" I almost forgot, Happy pride month." Todoroki smiled
I smiled back. " thank you Todoroki"
