Ch. 1

It didn't take long for us to get to the Rooster teeth building since we only lived about 6 miles away. Michael parked the car and we both walked inside. Michael headed straight to the AH office but I had to stop at the front desk to talk to one of my favorite people, Barbara. She smiled and stood up as she saw me. "Please tell me it's true that you're joining the RT/AH team" she said. I grinned and nodded. "yes it is! I'm so excited!" Barbara hugged me. "I can't believe we get to work together!" She said. I hugged back, still smiling. "Me either! I'm sorry we're late! Michael didn't tell me the news until about 15 minutes ago" I replied with a small sigh. "Don't even worry about it, I'm sure Burnie will understand. He told me that he wants to talk to you as soon as you get here. He's in his office." She said pointing out the direction for me to go in.I thanked her and quickly left to go find Burnie. As I was walking through the halls I heard a British voice shout "SHIT! I BOLLUXED IT AGAIN!" Followed by other people laughing."Well that's where Gavin is.." I thought to myself with a small smile. Soon I reached Burnie's office and knocked on the door. "Come in!" I heard him say.I had been to Burnie's house one time over summer for a barbeque, he had talked about a job opening up soon but I never thought I'd get the job. Opening the door I saw Burnie sitting at his desk, typing away. He looked up and smiled at me. "Welcome to Roosterteeth, Maggie!"he said. I smiled and sat down across from him. "Thanks, Burnie" I replied happily. "So your job for your first day is to get someone to give you a tour, and then so you should ask Geoff about what he want's you to do today. You'll be on the podcast tomorrow as well so we can show you how to do lighting and mic work too. Other than that go have fun, Oh and make sure your brother doesn't destroy too many things." I nodded and stood up again. "Sounds easy enough. See ya around" I said walking put of his office toward the AH office. I walked up to another door down the hallway and listened to make sure I wouldn't be interrupting anything. I didn't hear anything but just to be sure, I knocked. "Come on in!" I heard Geoff yell. I grabbed the doorknob and then walked in. "Hey" I said as four heads turned to look at me. Michael glanced at me with a smile, then went back to whatever he was doing. Geoff smiled and Jack waved. Gavin stood up and hugged me, picking me up and spinning me in a circle."Hey Gav" I said, I felt my face getting warm as I hugged him back tightly, slightly bury my face in his neck. He always acted like it had been years since he'd last seen me.Even though he had just seen me yesterday.It made me feel special. He made me feel special. I saw Michael shoot him a glare as Gavin set me down, overprotective as always.

-Gavin's POV-

I jumped up and hugged Maggie, spinning her around and getting a whiff of her intoxicating perfume."I'm so so excited you're working with us, Mags!This is top!" I said releasing her after a few seconds. I smiled as I saw her cheeks turn a little pink. I had liked her for awhile now and we flirted every now and again but she was Michael's sister. I normally tried to conceal my feelings because Michael was protective and would kill me if he knew I liked his sister, but now that she was working with us , I could see her more. Maybe we would become something more than just friends.

-Maggie's POV-

"Yeah, Welcome to Achievement Hunter!"Jack and Geoff said. I smiled and thanked them before sitting down on the couch. I had only been with Michael to work twice but I knew a few people around the building. "So Geoff after today what would you like me to do for AH?" I asked , stealing a glance at my brother and Gavin having an arm wrestling contest. Michael was winning of course. "Well you can help edit videos, help create/make LP videos. I'm sure Burnie will have you help out with the podcasts every now and then,"Geoff said. "For today you can hangout, get the feel of the office." I nodded and smiled. "Thank y-" I started to say but I was interrupted by Michael tackling Gavin for saying something about his girlfriend, Lindsay. I sighed and walked over. "Hey jackass! Stop torturing the poor british idiot and take me on a tour" I said brushing a piece of hair out of my eyes. Michael stopped hitting Gavin and stood up. "Sorry Mags, I have a rage quit to do...Gavin, take Maggie on a tour." Mogar said turning to his boi ,who was still laying on the ground. "Sorry, love. I have to finish editing the Lets Play from yesterday." Then I heard a voice speak up from behind me. "I'll take her on a tour."
I spun around to see who the voice was coming from. When I turned I saw a man I hadn't met before in person but I had seen him on a podcast once. There was something quite intimidating about him, but at the same time he looked like a big teddy bear.
"So you actually decided to fucking show up?" Geoff said to the person that had just walked in. "Ryan where the hell were you?" Jack asked with a chuckle. I saw the man named Ryan shrug. "Just had some car troubles this morning." He said with a shrug. "So about the tour..ready to go?" He asked letting his eyes wander until they met mine. I felt something like a electric shock shoot up my spine. "Yea, I'm Maggie. Michaels sister" I said, finally finding my voice and introducing myself."And the newest member to AH!" Geoff said with grin. "Welcome to Roosterteeth, Maggie. I'm Rya-" he started to say but Michael interrupted him. "JAMES...Ryan Haywood." My red headed brother said trying to cover it up by coughing. Ryan sighed. "Yeah, James Ryan Haywood, but please call me Ryan" he said leading me out of the office.

-Ryan's POV-

I walked along the halls of the building showing the new girl around. I couldn't believe she was Michael's sister, they were hardly alike as far as I could tell.I mean she was adopted, but she loved video games as much as her brother and when I asked if she liked animals I could see her beautiful blue eyes light up like a child's on Christmas.Wait did I just say her eyes were beautiful? Oh shit. Did I like Michael's sister? I pushed the thought out of my mind and continued the tour of the building. She told me that she had a dog when she was younger but it ran away when she was fourteen. I asked her about why she left New Jersey but I could tell it was a sore topic because she got quiet and changed the subject to music."What happened in New Jersey?" I thought. I'll ask Michael about it later. Soon we ended up back at the kitchen. "Hungry?" I asked her, as I started pulling out stuff to make sandwiches.

-Maggie's POV-

As we walked along, he showed the all the nooks and crannies of the building. We talked about how he grew up in Georgia and I told him about life with Michael. We both had a lot in common actually. We talked about our favorite video games and also about how we both love animals. Soon we ended up in the kitchen, I couldn't believe it was already noon. Ryan pulled out things to make ham and cheese sandwiches. I smiled and helped him. Our hands accidentally touched as we both grabbed for the same butter knife, and once again I felt a spark shoot through me. I quickly apologized and let him use the knife first. "Did I like Ryan?" I pondered the thought for a moment before we sat down to enjoy our sandwiches. Soon Michael and Gavin walked in, talking about the new rage quit that Michael had just recorded. "That fucking game! IM GONNA PUNCH A GODDAMN WALL!" My brother yelled, Gavin chuckled and shook his head. They made themselves some food and grabbed drinks before sitting down with Ryan and I. "How was the tour, Mags?" Gavin asked, taking a bite of sandwich. I sipped my coke before answering. "It went good. This building is huge! Ryan did a good job being a tour guide" I said. Ryan, who was sitting next to me, smiled. "Im just glad I could help, don't want you getting lost." He said with a grin. I blushed a little, was he flirting with me? I could see Michael glaring, but ignored it. Soon Michael and Ryan were done eating and they went back to the office. I finished my food and waited for Gav. "Anything for me to do yet?" I asked standing up to grab a glass of water and put my dishes away. Gavin shrugged. "Well, we have a let's play you can edit, I can show you how to do that." I smiled and nodded. "Sounds good! You're still coming over tonight to hangout with Michael and I, right?" I asked, just then Jack and Ryan walked in to grab drinks and yell at Gavin that it was time for the Let's play. I jumped at the sound of their loud voices,causing me to drop my glass on the floor, shattering it into a hundred pieces all around me. "Shit"I muttered bending down to pick up the pieces hastily.Gavin and Ryan ran over to help. Jack rushed to grab a broom. "Guys its fine! I'm not hurt." I said as Gavin cleared his throat. In the chaos I hadn't realized that while picking up the shards I had cut my hand and had started to bleed. "Well fuck" I muttered straightening myself looking for a way to get through the glass around me to get a bandaid. "Need some help?" I heard Ryan ask. I nodded and before I knew it he had picked me up bridal style and carried me to the table. "Sit tight, I'll grab the first aid kit." He said. "Yea, Mags. Jack and I will clean up the glass, we don't want you getting hurt again." Gavin said grabbing the garbage can. I blushed and nodded. "Thanks Gav!"I replied. Soon Jack came back with a broom and they had cleaned up the mess. "Alright let's look at your hand" I heard Ryan say as he walked in with the first aid kit. Jack grabbed a wet wash cloth and helped Ryan find the source of the bleeding. The cut wasn't anything to be concerned about, just a scratch about 4 centimeters deep and half an inch long. Ryan had my hand patched up in no time. "Normally it's Gavin that's hurt" he said, causing Jack to laugh. Gavin smiled. "Yeah, well you can just ask Michael about how ditzy I can be." I said. Then Geoff poked his head in. "Hey dickhead 1,2,3, and Maggie. C'mon we have a lets play to do!" He exclaimed. "Sorry Geoff, I ,uh, had an accident, we'll be right in" I explained,standing up. "Thanks again for helping me" I grinned. "No problem" they replied, Ryan draped an arm around my shoulders. "We're just glad you're okay" Ryan said, ruffling my hair. I giggled and looked up at Gavin and saw him glaring at Ryan. "What's his problem?" I thought as we all walked into the office together. It had been quite an eventful lunch break.
