DETECTIVE POV
"Why do I have to go?" Alyssa groaned as her and Vikkstar walked towards his office, they were supposed to meet an intern of the CIA, which was gonna help them with the investigation.
"Because you are the most reasonable out of those three idiots, and I don't want to look like a fool in front of an high ranking agent" he said as he turned around to fix her uniform, making it look neat, Alyssa just rolled her eyes.
"Do we really need their help anyway? We are doing fine on our own" she mumbled as Vik rested his hand on the handle of the door "This isn't something we can choose, the higher up decided it, so we just have to adapt" she sighed in response, following her boss inside the room, where a man with red and black hair and dressed in an elegant black and white suit was waiting.

SAPNAP POV
It was still a few days before the field trip with Karl and the others, so Sapnap decided to use this free time to look for his parents, turns out it's fairly easy to find someone when they had been on the police records, a quick google search and he found their name and address.
He decided to grab a few flowers on his way there, seeing that he would look both suspicious and rude in showing up empty handed.
Sapnap saw a black car parked across the street but didn't really pay too much mind to it, seeing that there were several more around the block, since it was normal for people to park their cars in front of their houses.
As he reached the door, he took in a deep breath and fixed his hair a bit before ringing the bell, after a few minutes the door opened, he saw a woman on a wheelchair stare at him with a scared look in her eyes.
"W-w-who are you?" she shakily asked "Uhm... hi, you don't know me, but I know you... wait, that came out wrong!" he quickly corrected himself "I'm friend with your son Karl" at the mention of her only child she opened the door completely, her attention completely focused on him.
"You met Karl?" she asked "Well, y-" he didn't get time to answer as she grabbed his arms, shaking him "How is he? Is he eating? Is he sleeping normally?" she started bombarding him with questions.
'Well... this will take a while'

Puffy let Sapnap in and they both sat down in the living room in front of a hot cup of tea, seeing that she seemed to be needing it more than him.
Sapnap started answering all her questions one by one, and once he was done, Puffy was both sad and relieved.
