Bye Coach| 13

Rylan's POV

I woke up the next morning and met up with the team at the bus staion, I was wearing an old Dallas Stars jacket and some jeans with a simple black t-shirt with my sneakers.  Today was the day that Coach was going to try out with the minors, we were all lined up to say goodbye to him at the bus station.  We were all shaking his hand and giving him sone advice.

" Keep your head up man," Jesse told him.

" Cake -eater," Adam and I told him as he gave us both a hug.  " Hey I don't you two causing any trouble while I'm gone, you got that?" he asked, we gave him a quick nod and smiled.

" Remember strength not concentration," Fulton told him.

" And for gods sake soft hands," Averman told him with a small chuckle leaving Coach's mouth.

" Anything else?" he asks all of us.  " Yeah, have fun out there Coach," Charlie says getting pulled into a hug afterwards.  

" I must be crazy to try out with the minors, I'm going up against kids half my age," he said.

" Just have a good try out Gordon, one steo at a time," Cassey said to him.  "Yeah you're right," he responded back to her.

The next thing you know he pulled her in and kissed her, I look over and see Charlie's mouth hanging wide open.  We all started cheering for them throwing a few oOoOo Coachs in there aswell.  Coach climbed inside the bus but came out two seconds later, " Hey Ducks, no matter what happens we'll see youn next season, we got a title to defend!"  He said as the bus doors closed and we all cheered.  When the bus started moving we all started chasing it down to the crosswalk at the end of the street saying goodbye to him.  

"Hey Rylan can I talk to you?" I turn beside me to see Adam asking me the question.

" Yeah sure," I say.  He grabs my arm and brings me to where we were before and starts getting a bit nervous.  " Hey you alright there?" I ask him.

" Yeah I'm fine, ok so there's something I need to tell you and I've been meaning to tell you for a long time," he says I look at him with a serious face then he continues.  "Look Rylan I've known for a very very long time now and we've been friends forever aswell.  You're super awesome at hockey, you're really smart, you're really funny and honestly perfect, and I just wanted to tell you that I-" his words were cut short by me grabbing his shirt conecting his lips with mine.  

" I like you too Banks," I say as I pull away.  He doesn't say anything he just stares at me with a huge grin on his face.  " Will you be my girlfriend?" he asks me,  " yes Banks I'll be your girlfriend," I respond to him grabbing my waist and pulling into another kiss.  I then hear cheering and a few OoOoOs in the background, I turn around and see the whole team watching us.

" OoOoO Banksie's got a girlfriend!" I hear Charlie yell at us.

" Shut it Conway!" I tell him.
