"Until both of you learn how to be teammates from (L/n), you are hereby forbidden from participating in all team activities.

"WHAATTT?!" The three of you yell as he slams the gym doors shut.

Hinata runs up and bangs on the doors. "Ahhhh!! Wha?! Why?! How do you display an understand of being teammates?!"

"Don't ask me!"

"P-P-please let me in! Let me play volleyball!! I promise I'll be n-n-nice even to Kageyama!"

You dead pan, staring at the two idiots beating on the door. You had pretty much figured out Daichi's plan, although you didn't know why you had to be a part of it.

Dang it. It was probably revenge for slapping his ass earlier...

Your eyes widen in shock as Kageyama literally yeets Hinata away from the door, the poor boy landing on his back a few feet away.

"I'm sorry, captain!" Kageyama yells at the door, banging his fist on it.

You walk over and help hinata up, brushing dirt of the front of his uniform jacket.

"I promise I'll cooperate with Hinata! Please allow me to join practice!"

The door slowly slides open, revealing half of Daichi's face. "Oh? And what do you really think?"

The eye was hypnotizing, forcing Kageyama to say what he truly thought.

"I think that if I'm stuck on the same team as a scrub like him then I'd rather do it all myself. All the setting, spiking, serving... everything!"

"You actually said it?!" Hinata said from beside you.

Seems like Kageyama really hasn't changed...

"Wow, you actually did say what you think? That's good, that's good," Daichi says, chuckling and opening the door a little more. "But y'know? In volleyball, you can't let the ball hit the ground. You can't carry it. The same person can't touch it twice in a row. Those are the rules of the game. How do you plan to do all of that by yourself." As Daichi was talking, Hinata left your side and walked up to stand next to Kageyama.

Daichi then gives them a forced grin and slams the doors shut again.

"What is wrong with you? Are you stupid?!"

Before it could escalate into a fight, you step in between Kageyama and Hinata, your back facing the taller of the two.

Kageyama finally noticed that you looked familiar. Then it hit him.

Reeling back, he points a finger at you. "ITS YOU!"

Hiding a smirk, you turn around. "Oh, you finally noticed."

"How come you're not at Shiratorizawa!!"

Hinata looks back and forth between you two, confused about how you knew each other.

You shrug. "I wanted a change of pace, ya know? So I decided to come here. It was quiet and not too big. Plus the uniforms are really cool."

Kageyama blinks at you. Thank god he didn't get accepted to Shiratorizawa now. He could lie and say he wanted to be on the best team of the prefecture, but he really just wanted to be on the same team as you. He had always wanted to set for you, ever since he first saw you in a game.
