At the age of eight a mark will appear on your wrist, it can come in a variety of shapes and sizes but only the person tied to you by fate can see it. Soulmates.. such a weird and complicated thing.
Tommy looked down on his hand staring at the thorny mark that wrapped around his wrist, the mark looked like a thorny stem of a rose. It would've been better if he had another mark, the one he has looks unsightly to him.
He looked up as he felt the moving vehicle stop, Tommy opened the car door with his backpack in hand. As he shut the door he waved off his father who drove him to his bestfriends home.
