You've lost track of time. How long have you been in this bleak cement room? When was the last time you ate?
There's not a window in sight, and it's driving you insane. Not to mention the lack of sleep. At this point, you're just laughing at every little thought.
Finally, the door opens, and light comes pouring in. Footsteps make their way closer to you.
"Food," Jeff announces, handing you a sandwich and water.
"Thank you."
"Yeah, whatever. Just eat it. I don't need you dying of hunger on me."
"Says the one who tried to kill me."
"You were the one begging for death."
"That was before I knew it was you."
"Whatever. Just eat your food."
Without another word, you stuff your face.
"This is delicious! Where'd you get it?"
"I made it," he says pridefully.
"Oh! Well I'm pleasantly surprised." You smile and chug the water.
"What? Thought I couldn't make a simple sandwich?"
You chuckle, shaking your head. "No, it's not that. I just remembered when your mom used to make us sandwiches like these when we were little."
"I'd rather not remember that..."
"Why not?"
"She wasn't very accepting of me once I found myself. She actually tried to kill me, but I got to her first."
"Oh, well that...uh...that sucks"
He stays silent for a moment. "You know... It's kind of been lonely without you around to keep me company all these years."
"Don't you have anybody else around?"
"I mean, if you consider the bodies in the other room..."
"Wait, what?"
"Have you forgotten that I'm a killer?"
"No, I haven't. I just didn't think that you had bodies laying around."
"I actually don't, I was just kidding. I usually just toss the bodies into the nearby lake if I decide to bring them home."
"Am I gonna be one of the people in the lake?"
"Well, you were. You managed to change my mind, though."
"Oh, well good. Will I ever get to see the sun again?"
"If you behave and don't try to run away."
"Now why do you think I'd try running away from you? For years, I've been dreaming of the day when I could finally see you again. And now here you are. I'm never letting you leave me again."
Jeff bursts out laughing. "You-- you think you have any control over me? Well, you're wrong. If anything, I have control over you."
"Oh, really?"
"Yes, really."
"Then... then make me do something!"
He laughs harder. "Alright, you asked for it. Kneel for me."
"How about no?" You look at him devilishly.
"So you're a brat, eh? I said kneel." He grabs your hair and forces you on your knees.
