"Juno Astra, the sole daughter of Agaton Astra. I, Canon Hilfiger, was sent by your grandfather to your aid, it is my pleasure to serve as your butler from here on."
What the hell is this person talking about? A Butler? Sent by my grandfather?
Sa pagkakaalam ko ulila na si Dad at sa orphanage s'ya lumaki, tsaka bakit ako padadalhan ng lolo ko (kung buhay nga) ng isang butler?
"Teka lang ha? The last time I checked wala na akong grandparents.
At pa'no mo nalaman ang pangalan ng daddy ko? Stalker ka ba? Scammer? Con-artist ka siguro-"
"Your father is missing, am I right?"
My hostility towards this suspicious person increased tenfold. I clutched my bag tightly secretly locating my self-defense dagger.
"Do you have something to do with my Dad's disappearance?" I asked,
Tahimik siyang sumandal sa likod ng sasakyan at ipinagkrus ang paa, relax na relax pa ang isang 'to tapos ako parang matatae na sa kaba!
"The Dean only ordered me to be of your assistance on your way to the sacred realm, I am not entitled to any disclosure of information."-They bowed their head-"But he left a message for you."
Ang taray naman nitong 'butler' ko kuno. Parang napag-utusan lang eh, labag pa sa loob.
"What message?"
Pakshet, may pabitin effect pa 'yan!
"'Come to the Sacred Realm if you want to find your father.', is what he said." Saad nitong si Canon,
"Sacred Realm? Nasa abroad ba 'yan? Bakit naman pupunta sa Daddy sa abroad in such short notice?" Sunod-sunod kong tanong,
Canon ruffled their hair up--almost pulling it, eyebrows furrowed in frustration while they tried their best to remain smiling but I could see the corner of their lips twitching.
"Save your questions for later, Lady Juno. Let us first depart from here."
With a snap of Canon's finger, we found ourselves inside a golden chariot.
A GOLDED CHARIOT?!
Panaghinip ba 'to?! I'm inside a freaking chariot!
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" I exclaimed, "How did you do that?!"
Canon covered their ears as they grimaced, "You're too loud, lady Juno."
I flung myself towards one of the pilars and wandered my gaze only to find 4 winged horses drawing the chariot accross the sea of rose-gold clouds. Such a breathtaking scenery, as if I'm on a fantasy movie.
"What just happened was us warping to the Sacred Realm. Rest assured, we will arive on Olympus shortly." Canon explained,
As if that lessened my confusion!
Nanghihina akong napaupo at napasandal sa upuan, kumapit ako nang maigi baka kasi mamaya itulak nalang ako nitong kasama ko sa kakatanong ko.
"I would suggest you refrain from using your vulgar words and earthly mannerisms, Lady Juno."-Canon mumbled-" You might draw attention to yourself, we should avoid having a bad reputation."
"What's wrong with gaining attention? Bad publicity is still publicity anyways." I joked,
My laughter was replaced by an awkward cackle, it wasn't long when I realized I was the only one laughing.
"Chill! I'm kidding, as if namang magpapakabibo ako do'n. Ew, people." Bawi ko,
"Olympus is different from your world, this place sets high standards for their people. Terrible treatment awaits those who failed to reach them." Saad niya,
There's no difference, kahit saang mundo pa pala ako magpunta may standards na dapat sundin.
All my life I've been criticized for refusing to fit in society's standards, recieved countless insults, bullying, and discrimination. But that never stopped me from doing whatever I want.
"Honestly, I don't give a shit about our world's standards." -I paused-
"I refuse to live a life dictated by the society, I'm gonna live my life how I want it to be."
Damn I sounded so cool!
Canon gave themself a facepalm as they mumbled some greek curses, I could somewhat feel those curses are for me. Sheesh.
