"Have we met before?"
Scaramouche just looked at him. He'd never felt so tongue-tied in his whole life. He wasn't embarrassed, just baffled that this guy had the audacity to walk up to him and ask something so trivial.
He wanted to snap back at him and make it clear he wasn't interested in chitchat. Yet, he couldn't somehow.
"I'd remember you if we did," Scaramouche started to turn around and leave, just simply wanting to get the conversation over with.
Kazuha chased after him. He knew that if this man left, he wouldn't see him again. And he needed to know the reason why he felt so familiar to him.
He placed his hand on Scaramouche's shoulder, causing him to look back in shock.
"I just feel like we've met somewhere before.." Kazuha continued. Maybe a part of him didn't want to be left alone. Was that why he was so insistent on talking with the Fatui harbinger?
Scaramouche groaned, he sure was persistent. But even so, Scaramouche felt the same way too, he just didn't want to admit it. Admitting it would show a sign of weakness, he didn't want that.
Instead of answering, Scaramouche took a good look at Kazuha's features. He was around his height and had his hair in a small ponytail. He did have a nice face, one that women would usually find attractive.
Eventually, Scaramouche sighed, "Who are you?"
Kazuha answered immediately, as if he was eager to tell him, "Kaedehara Kazuha."
He seemed so intent on speaking to Scaramouche that all social norms flew out the window.
"Well.. Kazuha. I think you have the wrong guy." Scaramouche informed him, "Now if you excuse me, I have more important things to do."
Scaramouche once again started walking away from the port, but Kazuha continued to follow him. Even after he got all the way to the blacksmith, he could feel Kazuha trailing shortly behind him.
It got to a point where Scaramouche was forced to confront him. He turned around, his arms folded, "Okay, seriously, what do you want?" He glared at him. Kazuha reminded him of a lost puppy. He had to admit, it was kind of cute, but mostly annoying.
Just as Kazuha was about to answer, a voice came from behind him.
"Scaramouche! Fancy seeing you here!" The man said. Kazuha turned around to look at who was speaking. He was quite tall, he had orange hair, and he looked like a member of the Fatui as well. Another harbinger, perhaps?
Scaramouche groaned, as if this man was the last person he wanted to see. In a fit of rage, he grabbed Kazuha's wrist and started walking away from the other harbinger.
Kazuha was a taken aback, but he went along with it. At least he didn't leave him there?

Strangely enough, the two were crouched down behind a building. Scaramouche was vigilant in looking out for that guy.
To break the awkward silence, Kazuha decided to ask him about it, "Why are we hiding from him-"
Scaramouche swiftly turned around, placing his finger onto Kazuha's lips to shut him up, "Shh."
The two were close, but that was to be expected. After all, they were indeed hiding from a harbinger, despite him being one himself. Scaramouche could see the ginger man pass by, but luckily he didn't notice the two of them. After he was finally out of sight, Scaramouche relaxed, leaning against the building.
