Garfield ran over to Maxine and helped her up. "I'm sorry Maxine I guess I lost my temper. It'll never happen again." Patrick said. "It's ok Patrick we all have those days. Some people find it easier to cry some people find it easier to lash out." Maxine said in a sympathetic way.
"Mom why are you letting him get away with punching you it could kill the baby." Garfield said the while tears dropped from her eyes.
"Baby, what baby? You've had an affair on me. I had a vecectomy last year. I can't believe you betrayed me. Your sleeping on the couch tonight and your presious little girl can go and sleep on the street." Patrick flipped.
"Patrick I promise I haven't been with anyone else. No one else would be with me. I'm to stupid ugly and irresponsible." Maxine said.
"Dodger didn't say that he thought that you was beautiful and..." Garfield said when Maxine did a signal to stop.
"You mean you was flirting with my son, Dodger," Patrick shouted. Patrick started to get angry. "The one family member I asked you to stay clear of and he was the only one you decided to go near. I can't believe you betrayed me."
"Molly (Garfield) go to your room and call peri and ask if you can go round hers." Maxine said worriedly.
"Mom I can't just leave you here what if he hits you again. What if I never see you again?" Garfield (Molly) said.
"Don't worry baby, I'll be fine, just go and do what I said." Maxine said.
"But mom..." Molly replied.
"Just do it." Maxine said.

Garfield- peri I'm really scared.
Peri- what's up Garfield?
Garfield- I saw Patrick hit my mom and he's got really angry because I accidentally told him about my mom being pregnant.
Peri- oh Garfield come round to mine. I'm sure my mom will be fine about it.
Garfield- ok are you sure?
Peri- yeah, totally and tell your mom I said congrats.
Garfield- ok I'll be at yours in about ten.
