Quinn and Mattias are majoring in environmental science. Dr. Gyser and Dr. Bui have been off that road for a long time, and studying finches in the Galagapos islands for many years. The students initial rivalry and dissent for each other soon dissolves into a yearn for one another. Like a fire left unattended, it grows and grows- and it's too late for them by time they realize.
