It's been four months since Panic ended and a lot has happened. Bishop went off to college. Natalie is taking classes at a community college and believe it or not Ray and Heather are still together. Heather used the money she won from the game and is going to school to become an accountant like she originally planned. Whenever she wasn't working at the farm or doing schoolwork she was with Ray. Their plan to not fall in love was getting harder and harder the more time they spent together.

"Hey girl." Ray said as he rapped is arms around Heather from behind, embracing her in a kiss.
"Heyy!" She responded with a grin on her face, kissing him back. "I didn't know you were coming by." She was working with the horses in the barn.
"I wanted to surprise you." He told her.
"Well I'm surprised." Something seemed different about her. She seemed... nervous. "I've still got some work to do around here and then I have to pick Lily up from school but after that we can hang out. I actually need to talk to you about something." Heather told him. "Oh, okay. Well if you want, I can pick Lily up from school and you can just meet us at my house when you're done if that sounds okay?" He said back. He was confused as to why she was acting so weird. " That would be great actually. Thanks."
"No problem. So I'll see you around 3?" Ray asked.
"Sounds good." Heather gave him a quick hug before he left and continued to brush the horses.

"Hey kiddo." Ray said as he helped Lily into his truck. "RAY!" Lily said as she hopped in. She had grown very fond of Ray in the few months he and her sister had been dating. He made Heather happy and that made Lily happy. They joked back and forth on the short ride to his house. As they pulled up, Lily unbuckled her seat belt and jumped out of the truck, headed straight for the water. She loved riding his boat. A few minutes later Heather drove up. She was greeted by an already very wet Lily, and her also wet boyfriend Ray. "I see y'all started the party without me!" Heather said laughing. "Somebody had to keep this girl busy while we waited on you, right Lily?" He told her as he gave her a big bear hug getting her soaked! "Yep. I get bored very easily." Lily said, shaking her head. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go for a ride!" Heather told them. And with that they headed towards the boat.

The three returned an hour later, all with big smiles on their faces. Ray thought to himself that Heather had seemed to be back to herself again until they got off the boat and she told Lily to wait in the car for her. She needed to talk to Ray. " What's up? You've seemed a little off today." He said to her. Starting to get a little concerned. "Ray. I need to tell you something. I don't know how to say it or how you're gonna react." She said with a very serious look on her face. "Okay... well whatever it is we'll get through it together. You can tell me anything." He said back. Now he was starting to get a little worried. "You don't know that. What I'm about to tell you, it - it'll change everything." Heather looked like she was about to cry. " Babe, you're scaring me. Just tell me what's going on." Ray told her. At this point he was holding her in his arms. "I... I'm pregnant."
They sat there for a few minutes, neither of them saying anything. Finally Heather spoke up, "I'm finally in a good place in my life. I'm going to school. I'm away from my mom. I have you. Everything is perfect. At first I thought about getting rid of it but then I think about my mom and me and Lily. She could have aborted either of us and she didn't. I look at my sister and I see her smile and how much joy she brings to this world. She's the smartest kid I've ever known and she's gonna do great things. Heck, she might even cure cancer. I think about her and this baby and I, I don't know I just don't think I can do it. I don't think I can get rid of my baby. Even if it screws up my plans. I've decided I'm going to keep it. I don't expect you to stay with me or have any obligation to this baby. This is my choice and I understand what ever you decide to do." She spoke as if he had already made up his mind. " Heather. Stop. I love you, okay? I do. I've always loved you and this doesn't change that. I want to be there for you and the baby. I'm not going anywhere you hear me?" Ray told her. At this point she couldn't hold back the tears. All she could do was  lay there in his arms. She felt a sense of comfort there. After a few moments she had calmed down enough to mumble the words " I love you too." For the first time since she found out she was pregnant, she could breathe. She knew everything was gonna be okay because she had Ray.
