You wake up, Today's the day! (Pretend you go through what happens throughout the first few scenes of the game.) You look at your life long Friend and Rival. His Dubwool beside him. And on his other side, his big brother, Leon! The champion! He was sort of a big brother figure to you. He threw out three poke balls. "Here they are! Grookey, Sobble and Scorbunny!" The three Pokémon all smile at you, not really sure of what's happening. The blue lizard hides behind a rock as soon as you look at it, the rabbit is very cheerful and you can see the char marks behind it. And for the Monkey, it's banging it's stick against a rock, making a rather repetitive rythm. After some time, a few days or so, you're with your pokemon, Sobble! You've formed a great bond with it and you are on a train with your Rival, Hop. You and him are so excited! "We're best mates for life, right?" "Yeah, Hop, nothing will ever change that." You arrive, Sonia gives you your Pokémon box link, poke balls and wishes both of you a fun time! You see grass, trees, lakes and buildings! So much Pokémon. The red beacons are cool too, wait... what are those? You go to the first one you find, and walking aimlessly, you and Sobble fall into the den. "Ahhh!!!" You say as you fall, and you see a huge pokemon in-front of other people, all with super strong looking pokemon, you look at the Giant pokemon and realize.. it's a Ralts! You hide behind some rocks and wait. You look at a poke ball in your hand, and then at the pokemon, and then you see a symbol on the other trainer's jackets.. You realize it's a hunting company. Does that mean... You gasp. You have to save the Ralts! You throw your pokeball with all of your might! The Ralts looks worried but then see your pokeball. You give it a reassuring look and it surrenders itself so the hunters cant get them. You exit the den with some candy, a few TMs and various trinkets, and another Pokémon. You go to to the city of Motostoke after some tall grass encounters. You head to the Budew drop inn. This is where the fun begins. You go up to the employee infront of a computer. "Uh.. I'm here for the Gym challenge?" You say to the employee and wait a second. "Oh.. we're booked." "W-What!?" You exclaim. "Oh come o-" a female voice interrupts. "Actually, they can stay in my room for the night." The employee doesn't care and shrugs. You look back and it's a goth looking girl about your age. "Hi, My names Marnie!" She walks up to you and doesn't really smile or frown. She tells you her room is A25 Just on the second floor. She leads you to the elevator, but a bunch of middle aged blokes follow her. "Hold up! I want you lot to go back to Spikemuth, Y'hear?" The girl says. You follow her into the elevator, you can already tell she's pretty dominant. "Thanks for letting me sleep in your room for the night!" "Don't mention it." You get to the room. It's filled with things a goth would have, but the closet has some pink, frilly shirts and well... Other stuff. A hamster looking Pokémon is running around, chasing your sobble in a playful way, "Ha, they seem to like each other!" She chimes in. She yawns, "I'm gettin' tired, I don't know 'bout you but I'm heading to bed." You look at her "Alright, Hey uh, Marnie, should I sleep in the same bed as you or..." "I don' care, just don't make it weird or anythin'." She says and she changes out of her clothes into what she wears on her league card. You then realize something. "Wait.. Marnie, aren't you the little sister of Piers?!" She sits up and runs her eyes. "Y-Yeah, What of it?" "Nothing, just wanted to know." You start to realize, you're developing a bit of a crush for Marnie, maybe you could talk to Hop about this tomorrow when you meet up? Maybe you could ask Marnie and him to a restaurant or something? This is too much to think about, you clear your head and go to bed along with Marnie and the three Pokémon in the room.
