"No, you don't understand! I have to!" I said.
"No, you don't have to. This is more important!" I was currently arguing with Hanna about whether I should go to school or not.
"Hanna, I feel fine. I'm not a baby. I can decide for myself. Plus, I rested the entire weekend, literally."
"No. This is the end of this discussion," she said in a low voice, "I will you up in this room or stay back from school if I have to."
"Why?"
"Because I want you to become alright. If you don't rest, you won't become okay. You what the doctor said."
"Yes but he didn't say that I couldn't go to school, or that I couldn't get out of the house."
"No. I don't care what he said."
"But you just said-" The door creaked open and Miranda popped her head in.
"Hey Hanna, hey Alex, ready for school-why didn't you get ready, Alex?"
"Because this 'know it all' won't let me." I said, pointing at Hanna."
"For a good reason," Hanna said, "the doctor said that she should rest and she won't get any if she goes to school."
"It's okay, Hanna," Miranda said, "I'm pretty sure that he meant not to jump and get too excited over something. It's okay and anyways, we have to study. It's not like we're dancing on school. Remember we have a chem test today?"
"We do? But I didn't know..." Hanna trailed off.
"I studied. Now you won't want all that hard work to go to waste, would you?" I said.
"But-" Hanna started.
"No buts, Hanna," Miranda said, "she's coming and that's it. Anyway it's two against one, majority wins. You're out-numbered."
"What about Claire? She hasn't voted."
"She's not here. Her bad." Miranda said. Hanna muttered a 'fine' and I quickly got ready.
"Come on, let's go." I said. We quickly grabbed our things and headed for the school. Now I knew and was completely convinced, that Victoria wasn't the person who threw the shaft at me. The theory that maybe-her-partner-did-it was stupid. Even I have to admit that. I wanted to see Victoria so that I could snap at her. Sure she may not be the person who's trying to kill me but she was still my enemy.
When I entered the school building, the first thing I saw was what I wanted to see, Victoria.
