IDOL (BOYFRIEND)

Auditions

"Today is the day" I say to myself as I take a deep breath and open the door to Starship Entertainment.

This is the moment I've always dreamed about. I've wanted to become an Idol for so long and now I have a chance to make that dream a reality, and I won't give up. Fighting!

As soon as I open the door a gush of wind blows my hair back. As I walk inside I take a deep breath and then straight up to the front desk and tell the woman why I'm here. She motions to her right at a door that's labeled "Auditions" and I quickly thank her and walk over to the door.

I take one deep breath as I enter the room where I'll be auditioning. I look around and there are a bunch of people already here. Maybe I'll get in, I just have to have hope.

I go up to a man and he tells me to tell him my name, so I do and then he gives me a number and tells me to wait for my number to be called.

I take that time to stretch and get ready for when my time comes. Several people have came out of the room where the judges are at crying and I silently pray I won't be one of them.

"Number 34." A man says as he peeks his head out of the door where the judges are at.

I look down at my number and find that it's already my turn. I start walking over to him and he smiles and leads me inside where he tells me to stand in front of the four judges.

"Lee?" One of them asks and I nod my head and say "ne."

"What do you have prepared for us today? Also realize that we are filming this, so that we can show the other trainees here your performances to help us decide." A woman says as she takes me in with her eyes.

I try not to be nervous, but fail because I can feel the butterflies in my stomach. "I'm going to sing Ailee's song, "I will show you" and thanks for having me."

"One thing before you start, why do you want to be in Starship Entertainment?" A man in his late forties asks me as I turn my head in his direction.

"I've always wanted to become an idol and inspire others through my music, and I've known this ever since I first heard music. I want to help others through tough situations in life and I want to help people believe that dreams do come true if you just try your hardest. I chose Starship because I knew you could help make my dream a reality and that you've already done it with several others like BOYFRIEND and SISTAR. It would be a privilege to work with you and I hope you take me into consideration." I say as I bow.

They all are smiling and nodding their heads as if they are pleased with me. I smile and pick up the microphone in front of me as they start to play the music.

I sing with all of my heart and even dance a little with the chorus because you can't help but dance to it. I'm pretty sure that I crushed that song and when I'm done I put the mic back on the stand and bow again as I walk back out of the door.

They said they would be in touch with me and contact me soon. I can't wait for that day because until then I will be nervous with anticipation.

I leave Starship and go to a café right down the road to get some hot chocolate with wipcream because I'm proud of myself and I deserve this. I sit down at a table towards the back of the café so I'm not surrounded be people. Then I pull out my phone and text my friend that I'm done with my audition.

She immediately texted back.

Grace: Awesome!!! I bet you got in!! ^^

Me: Thanks, I hope so!! Gosh, I'm so nervous!!

Grace: Don't be nervous, be excited!! I'll come over after I'm done with my audition and we can go and get pizza, okay?

Grace is also auditioning at Starship Entertainment, she wasn't there when I was because she had to work.

Me: Good luck Unnie!! ^^ See you later!!

Grace: Thanks, bye!!!

I put my phone down and look around the café, there aren't that many people in here. I see a couple, and old man reading a newspaper, and a couple of teenagers. Then I notice this one guy wearing a hat and a mask looking at me. That's kind of disturbing...

I grab my phone and hot chocolate and walk out of the door and start on my way to my apartment I share with Grace.

When I get there I throw my keys down on the counter and jump onto the couch. I eventually fell asleep only to be woke up by Grace shaking me frantically.

"Lee-Lee, wake up!! Your phone is flashing." She says as she grabs it snd hands it to me.

"Ugh, what? Oh, my phone's flashing!!" I sit up straight and look to see I have two missed calls, one from grace and the other from and unidentified number.

I call back the unidentified number only to find that it's Starship Entertainment!!

"Hello, is this Lee?" I frantically nod my head and then realize I'm on a phone so I say "ne."

"This is Kim from Starship Entertainment, I'm pleased to inform you that you have been accepted and that you should report here at exactly seven in the morning."

"Oh, thanks!!!! ^_^" I'm practically bouncing off the walls with excitement.

"Bye, and congratulations." She says and then hangs up the phone.

"So, who was it?" Grace says as she looks at me.

"It was Starship Entertainment......I got in!!!"
I scream and started jumping up and down.

"Wow, congratulations Lee!!! Guess what?" I just look at her, "I also got in!!"

"Really?!" She nods her head and we start screaming and jumping together.

"We definitely need pizza now!!!" I say and she nods in agreement.

I think this is the best day of my life so far!!! ^^
