"Alright, your bags are packed, tickets are booked and passports are ready. Have fun honey." My mom said and hugged me.
"Bye sweetheart." My dad said and then hugged me too.
"I'll miss you both. Bye." I said.
"Bye." They said in unison.
We had taken Officer Brook's advice and all four of us, Hanna, Miranda, Claire and I, were going to... somewhere. It was a surprise for me. They had tied a blindfold over my eyes so that I wouldn't see where we were going. The entire journey, all I did was sleep. I was so exhausted from everything that had happened. I still couldn't believe that someone was trying to kill me and it was not Victoria or any of her friends. I had always been nice to everyone but now, I doubted it. There was one person who I probably hadn't been so nice to because of which he or she wanted to kill me.
When we reached the resort where we were staying, they finally let me open the blindfold.
"Where are we-whoa." I said. The resort was huge. I had never seen anything so big in my entire life.
"Welcome to amusant de bienvenue. It means welcome fun in French." Hanna said.
"Oh please," I said, "my last encounter with something French nearly killed me!"
"Well, this is different. Hanna go get the keys." Miranda said and Hanna obeyed. A few minutes she returned, but with only one key.
"Looks like we're all going to have to share a room as the receptionist said that someone cancelled the second room or something. Anyways, let's go." The first thought that came to my mind was that killer. He or she must have cancelled it.
"Come one, Alex. What are you thinking about? We have to go and keep our stuff."
I nodded. We went to our room.
"Alex," Hanna said, "take this and change into it." She then handed me a swimming costume.
"Okay." I said and quickly changed into it. A few minutes later we went to the pool.
This is awesome and maybe I might actually like it. I thought and dived into the pool.
