Sorry it's incredibly short, but I am having a little writer's block. I'm really hoping to get my mojo back and improve my writing. So, I hope you'll accept this tiny thing for now and I'll make sure to make it up to you all in the next chapter!

You had been under the care of the Avengers for a little over two months, and it has been the best time of your life.
That you could remember.
There were some times where you had a setback, as you had many nightmares that you were with the mean men again, but you were comforted everytime. The nightmares lessened more and more each passing day, to the point where you haven't had more than one every week.
Although you grew to love and trust the team, Steve had surpassed everyone by becoming your favourite daddy overall. You did have preferences for different people for different things, though.
Bruce was your go-to cuddler.
Clint was your go-to person to make you food, because apparently he's an amazing cook and you absolutely love his food.
Thor was your go-to story teller. You love his stories about Asgard and the nine realms.
Nat was your go-to person when you started getting bad thoughts, because she just knew how to distract you until you forgot about those thoughts.
Tony was your go-to person to play with.
Steve...you did practically anything and everything with Steve when you weren't with any of the others.
But, when a guy showed up two weeks ago needing help much like you did, you saw less of Steve.
You learnt that his name was James, but that he goes by Bucky. You also quickly realized you were jealous of Bucky.
Bruce had sat down with you and explained everything he knew about Bucky to you, so you knew you shouldn't have felt the way you did - you haven't even met Bucky yet!
So, when the day came when Steve wanted to introduce you to Bucky, you pushed all your feelings aside to give him a chance. Your favourite daddy spoke highly of him, so you were going to be a good (y/g) and be on your best behaviour.
You sat on Bruce's hip, swinging your legs gently while sucking on your favourite pacifier as he brought you to Steve's room to meet Bucky.
"You stay?" You asked, slightly muffled from the pacifier.
"Do you want me to?" Bruce asked, pausing outside the door.
"Mhm," You hummed, leaning into him more.
Bruce smiled gently, knocking on the door. Steve opened it a moment after, a grin on his face.
"There's my (y/g)," He said. You smiled, wanting to be in his strong arms but he stepped back to let you and Bruce enter. Your smile fell as you leaned into Bruce even more.
When your eyes landed on the man sitting on the bed, they went wide. You have never seen anyone else who was like you.
He sat there, in a cozy blanket with a pacifier in his mouth and a teddy bear in his flesh and metal arm.
You were speechless as Bruce walked closer to the bed, sitting on the edge and arranging you in his lap to sit facing Bucky.
Bucky looked just as nervous as you felt.
Remembering, somewhat, of what Bruce told you about Bucky, you realized he wouldn't speak first.
"Hewwo," You waved slightly. "I'm (y/n)."
You watched as Bucky looked at Steve, nodding slightly before looking back at you.
"Hi," Bucky murmured.
When it became clear that neither you or Bucky would be saying much more, Steve cleared his throat.
"(y/n), you and Bucky are about the same age while regressed." He said, sitting beside Bucky but made sure to also be in your eyesight. "Maybe you two would like to play together? Having a friend that's the same as you would be beneficial to the both of you."
"I have - I have wots of toys, an - an cowowing books. I share, daddy, I share." You said excitedly, the jealousy seemingly disappeared at the thought of a friend like you.
"That's very nice of you, (y/n)." Bruce said, rubbing your back.
"What d'you say, Buck?" Steve asked, squeezing his shoulder.
"T'ank you, (y/n)."

FanfictionThis is a short story about you, the reader, as a little and being found and taken care of by the Avengers. It was originally a oneshot, but thanks to one of my readers I turned it into a little story. (Pun intended, even though it's not that funny...
