My heart is broken...
I'm solemnly mistaken
For a fool who is always crying,
How long will i be trying,
To hold these tears?
When you're near,
I swear I can feel
The pain and fear
That i kept inside...
I'm always telling myself...
"Grow up!"
"Give him up!"
"Stop this foolishness"
"You've always been this way..."
"How long are you going
to allow this madness to go on?"
And then one day....
I woke up with a start,
The pain is gone...
No more tears, no more fears..
I have let him go...Completely...
I ain't never ever going to go back
On that lonely path again...
And at last....
It's safe to say:
"I'M FREE"
