RedStar jumped down from the Spiked bush and swiftly made his way over to RoseNeedle his head was was low with his ears flat
"RoseNeedle, i'm so sorry to hear about PinkBloom she was a fine Healer no cat can ever replace her."
RoseNeedle pricked her head up as she let out a soft gentle pur
" it's not your fault no need to apologize she'll always live on in our hearts"
"Yes, yes she will. And within your kits."
RoseNeedle switched her tail up and down sweeping the dry grass her expression became anxious
"Can I trust you to keep me and my future kits safe? How can I know when my mother had just died!"
RedStar Shifted his paws as he lowered his head
"RoseNeedle, please believe me when I say that me and the whole of SkyClan will take care of you and your kits. We will also find your mothers killer!"
RedStar put his head high, that last part must have made him excited, the thought of having the kille gone must have made him happy.
'He wants my mate dead?'
RoseNeedle couldn't help but smile a bit. CliffLeaf had finally got rid of her mother!
"Thank you, RedStar"
She had to put that smile to a good use she wouldn't want The Chancellor to see her smiling for her mothers death
The mother stood up and stretched her legs as her tail bounced her slightly swollen belly protected by the tall dry grass.
The She/Cat pushed through the spiky dry grass and arrived at the Healer's den and saw her mate, CliffLeaf getting some cobwebs and Raspberry leafs.
"CliffLeaf! Are you okay!"
RoseNeedle ran up to her mate she knew he was okay but wanted to draw attention
"Of course I am darling"
His words were smooth they could gloss over like honey
"You should be good in no time!"
A gray tabby She/Cat mewed to him
"Are you here for a check up RoseNeedle?"
The She/Cat was CreekEyes, PinkBloom's old apprentice that made RoseNeedle feel a bit bitter tourd her but it was either her or the healer apprentice Dapple.
"Uh yeah..! I am.."
RoseNeedle was looking for CliffLeaf to thank him but he also didn't know about the kits yet.
"Alright! I need to go get Dapple real quick. Is it okay if I leave you alone with CliffLeaf for a couple minutes?"
RoseNeedle nodded to the Healer and she responded with an ear flick knowing she was fine.
As the tabby She/Cat walked out RoseNeedle skidded to her mate
"What do you need a check up for? Find the pesky MoonClan cat who killed PinkBloom?"
The too cats laughed
"You know you don't have to lie, I know you did it!'
RoseNeedle continued to laugh but CliffLeaf did not
"How do you know that"
The warm den soon felt cold a tense atmosphere
"Of course I know your scent was all over her body along with you being gone for such a long time the day she died!"
CliffLeaf got up and hissed
"So you're here to yell at me?"
There was only anger in his voice his tail flicked and his fur was spiked
"W-what? No! I'm here to thank you! I've wanted her gone for moons!"
CliffLeaf lowered himself trying to be calm
"Well you're welcome"
RoseNeedle shifted her paws. Was this a good time to tell him? He lashes out to easily
All her thoughts ran threw her had the atmosphere stayed quite but her head was racing telling her to tell him but the other side was telling her not cause he'll be made
"Can I tell you something?"
She did it she started! She felt proud the warm sun shimmer over her fur making her feel nice and somewhat confident like it was a sign
"I'm back!"
CreekEyes walked in the den with her small curly furred apprentice'
"Oh hello! Hey Dapple! Where have you been?"
Dapple razn to her excited
"I was getting you bedding so you can move into the nursery soon!"
RoseNeedle saw CliffLeaf flinch; she didn't get to tell him herself but maybe having someone else in the den would help her out.
"Why didn't you tell me! This must be awful for you being pregnant and just losing your mother!"
RoseNeedle couldn't tell if he was being serious or not but whatever he was doing she kind of liked it..was that bad?
"I was just about to tell you before dapple Came in and ruined it!"
RoseNeedle made sure to make that last part sound different from her other words making herself sound soft and jokeish.
the spotted she/cat folded her ears
"Sorry! But I also got you a mouse! It was raining so hard the other day. Now it's so bright it must be a good sign! Have we had a flower grow yet? Has the Sun-Leaf soulsist happened yet?"
RoseNeedle could her CreekEyes mew in amusement
"No not yet! Although I bet It'll be any day now!"
The to Healers laughed as CreekEyes got RoseNeedle some batch of herbs
"Here, Eat these."
The gray tabby pushed a beech leaf tourd her full of some type of herb including raspberries
"If the raspberry is sour your kits are doing fine"
RoseNeedle curled her tail around her paws fulling knowing what would happy if it was sweet.She felt a soft touch on her shoulder
"Goodluck"
CliffLeaf switched his tail upon her shoulder as a goodluck sign
RoseNeedle felt the love of her mate flow through her knowing he had accepted their kits.
The She/Cat lowered her head and reached out a paw to reach the beech leafs that had 3 red berries some darker than others RoseNeedle reached for the middle one it wasn't dark or light is was the middle ground of the three
It felt like everything was in slow motion; she just wanted her kits to be okay!
The She/Cat began to chew the berry and soon spat it out
"EW! That's horrible!"
The four cats laughed happily as RoseNeedle felt herself grow more and more happy.
"RoseNeedle? May you come out i'd like to speak to you?"
