Laura's Misfortunes

27-April Fools!

(A/n)- Hey! So in this one, Laura will be aged up to about 24 years old...

Laura chuckled while staring at her calendar. The date had been: April first-April fools day...one of her favorited dates.

She smirked after her laughing fit going to the bathroom to start her daily routine. She brushed her teeth and hair, made breakfast, put on her work uniform and etc before running out the door.

She drove(the best she could😬) to the police station before parking and getting ready to go inside.

When she was able to go, she sat at her desk drinking a hot cup of coffee from Starbucks.

Instead of doing her work, she was drawing on some computer paper for important documents to be printed out and stuff.

She sighed out of boredom before going to go say hello to the prisoners. "Hey, guys!" She greeted with a wide smile on her face. They all ignored her grumpily.

"Guysss!!!! Come on-don't be like that!!!!" She tried to influence them who scoffed turning away from her presence.

"I have an idea! It involves you guys, please don't ignore me!!!! It's a prank-AND IT'S GENIUS!!! ALSO, IT CAN GET BACK AT THE PEOPLE WHO PUT YOU IN HERE-" "So you're basically sabotaging yourself then" "NO! MACY HANDCUFFED YOU-I'M IN AN OFFICE" She humphed, crossing her arms.

"Look, at lunch time-Ima let everyone go into the jail bus but you're not really going anywhere. After that-I'll run in here crying that you all escaped when I came to check on you all" Laura wispered.

The prisoners soon jumped up now interested in what she was saying. "Yes Yes! We will fool the chief and sheriff!!" She said laughing with the prisoners.

Laura went back to her office after getting a few jail buses ready.

Laura had sneaked up towards the guards.
"Guys! It's lunch break, why don't you leave here and go eat??" The guards faced her. "We have to guard them, Officer-" "No! I can! Just go and eat some food-the chief brought a whole meal for the staff so we are having a nice party...to celebrate April/Spring...NOW GO!!" She screamed convincing all the guards on patrol.

They all hesitantly agreed leaving to where this 'party' was. Laura smirked wishing she could see their faces when there is no party but she had to stay and get them on the jail bus before everyone came back.

She carefully and quietly escorted them all onto the buses with a wild grin on her face. The prisoners were all delighted to go on the jail bus and prank the officers yet Laura didn't know what was truly going on...she didn't know the true reason they were so cooperative to go on the bus...

Laura was about to leave to get another batch of prisoners before wispering to the bus.

"Guard these guys! Don't let them leave..." she gave the bus enough time to respond before saying okay even though it definetly could not talk or was alive.

The prisoners laughed at her stupidity before. "Man THAT WOMAN WAS REAL STUPID TO LEAVE US ALONE, OUTSIDE-LET'S GO, GUYS!" They all raced off the bus and ran out into the streets succeessfully making their escape.

Laura had finished loading the buses and went back inside. She ran to where the 'party' was held. Everyone was in pure confusion standing in the open room. "What about the party" "where's the party?" "I thought chief had food" "same-" "GUYS! ALL THE PRISONERS ARE GONE!!!! I WENT TO PATROL ON OTHER HALLS AND COULDN'T FIND THEM-EACH CELL IS EMPTY" The police were in horror running out the room into the cells to see them indeed empty.

Laura watched this go down for a little longer before the chief picked up the phone about to dial a number.

"WAIT! AHAHAHAHA! YA'LL ALL JUST GOT PRANKED-HAPPY APRIL FOOLS, FOOLS!!! I BROUGHT ALL THE PRISONERS ONTO THE JAIL BUS TO SCARE EVERYONE-LET ME GO GET THEM AGAIN" Laura said dashing outside.

"...guys..? Where are you...? The prank is..over....WE HAVE TO GO BACK NOW!!!!" Laura looked in all the buses.
