Distraught

Confusion

Adrien walked home to have a shower then get changed before leaving to go meet up with Nino and Alya. Once the three meet up they greet each other and make their way to the hospital.

as soon as Alya walked through the door Marinette sat up and screamed her name.

Alya: HEY GIRLLL!!! DONT YOU EVER DO THAT TO ME AGAIN!!!

Marinette: i'm sorry. i'm sorry. besides it's not my fault i got a shard to a stomach then went into a coma.

Alya: yeah, yeah.

Nino: Dudette we have been so worried about you. the whole class came through and checked on you!! EVEN CHLOE!!

Marinette: that's so sweet! not gonna lie lil bit surprised but thankful.

the three kept chatting while Adrien kept looking up then back down at his feet. he was still scared for Marinette but knew he was lying to her and had to tell her that he has her stuff eventually.

Marinette: guys have any of you seen my earrings by any chance? idk where they are but they are really important to me i can't lose them.

Alya quickly glanced over at Adrien but Marinette caught her gaze.

Alya: sorry girl no idea

Marinette's thoughts - Adrien doesn't seem ok he keeps looking down then back up at me. I'm really worried and mad at him but i don't know why. i know he has my earrings and i really want them back. why would Adrien follow chat here. it doesn't make sense. i am mad at him, sad for him, happy that he is here but distraught at the same time. not everything is clear still.  

I know i care about Adrien. i really care about Adrien and the fact that he stayed here for two weeks straight and only went home once means a lot. Alya and Nino are so sweet i am glad they came but Adrien isn't telling me something. we told each other that we would have no secrets and the fact that he isn't telling me what's going on is making me furious.  

I have one secret to keep hit that's for the sake of the world and my family. but he. he is keeping something from me and i have to know what.
