I could hear Adam speeding up our driveway. I had a special evening planned for the man I loved the most in this world. I spent all day cleaning and cooking in anticipation of tonight. Nothing could go wrong I thought to myself. Or at least that's what I thought.
Present Day
Adam strode into the Java shop to get his normal fix, A mocha roca. The Java mixed with almond roca flavor was Cat's favorite. It had been a couple months since that night Adam thought to himself. The night everything changed. How could someone who meant everything to him betray him. Still he could hear Cat screaming that she didn't do anything wrong. And how he was making a mistake. Adam was so sure he wasn't. At least not until now. For the past year he had hired a private investigator to find Cat. But, it seemed she dropped off the face of the planet.
Cat woke to the ringing of her s3 playing all or nothing. I set that ringtone to remind me of Adam's last words to me. He wanted all or nothing. And I was nothing more to him. Oh, how my heart broke when he yelled those words to me. I placed my hand over my small baby bump hoping my precious didn't hear anything. My thoughts slipped back to that night a couple months ago. Adam strode in our room and was yelling my name. He seemed furious but, I couldn't understand why.
