Haruka x reader anniversary!

"No," (Y/n) replied.

"Why not?," Haruka asked in a sad whiny tone.

"Because you already know my parents wont let me." (Y/n) said, trying not to sound suspicious.

"But love, its our 2nd year anniversary." Haruka said in return to the comment about (Y/n)s parents.

"I'm sure they'll understand. I'll go with you to ask them." Haruka said as she smirk at her plan.

"NO!" (Y/n) shouted in desperation startling her girlfriend.

"But why?" Haruka said, feeling slightly upset by her lovers words.

"Because..." (Y/n) thought of a believable lie.

"Because my cat needs to go to the vet tomorrow, yea, and its going to take all day, yea, and I wont be home.

"Oh I see." Haruka said, disappointment masking her smiling face.

(Y/n)s pocket began vibrating as if on queue.

"Hello mom, i wanted to see if we are still going to the vet tomorrow."

(Y/n) told her mom about her plans so her mom caught on relitively quick but not quite quick enough.

"Sweetheart what do you mean? We aren't going to the vet tomorrow?"

"But you said that we were and that's why I cant go with Haruka for our anniversary."

Haruka raised her eyebrow of suspicion. 'How strange that her mother would not remember something so important'  

"OH yea, sorry sweety I forgot but yea we are still going."

Haruka's small gleam of hope was utterly crushed and her smile faded completely.

(Y/n) ended the call with her mother and looked at her girlfriend, the sadness of her failed smile left (Y/n) guilty and almost gave into going with her love and forgetting her whole plan. But she remained strong.

"I'm sorry Haru-chan,"

"It's alright I understand." Haruka said giving (Y/n) a weak smile before she turned her back to her and said," Bye bye, my love,"

"Bye, Haru" (Y/n) waved to her girlfriend but Haruka didn't return the weak attempt of a wave

(Y/n)s heart sunk and she watched her saddened girlfriend leave the small park they stood in.

(Y/n) rush home as quickly as she could to execute this plan she had.

And soon it was midnight and (Y/n) was ready for tomorrow, her and Haruka's anniversary.

She layed down and smiled to herself.

'She's gonna love it I'm sure!'  

(Y/n) woke up very early the next morning and did her hair and put and some nice clothes that had her (f/c). She wanted to look nice.

She check her phone that was plugged in on her dresser to see only 1 message from Haruka when normally there was at least 5 or 6. This saddened (Y/n) but it was understandable and Haruka would most definitely forgive her.

She opened the message and smiled to herself as she did every morning.

"Morning Love <3 I'm gonna miss you today since you're busy but I love you and I hope your beloved cat is ok."

The message was short but filled with love and (Y/n) could see that.

Her mother wasn't awake at that time because her mom helped her get ready for these plans.
