"connie?" you break connie from his dazed look.
"y-yeah?"
"do you think sasha's watching us right now? do you think she's telling us 'please don't cry'?"
*SOB*
i went in to hug my boyfriend to comfort him in his state of mourning.
"do you think she's there with marco, mina, thomas, commander erwin, everyone of our friends we've lost?" i ask.
"yes. i'm sure she's having the time of her life with our past friends..."
"eating all the potatoes galore." i finish his sentence.
"do you remember when she had to run laps because she was eating a potato when she wasn't supposed to?"
"can we just pretend that she's still here? let's leave her grave. pretend she's-" you couldn't finish your sentence and let out all your sobs.
you hug connie tighter and sob out all your pain.
"yeah. sasha's still with us. she's standing right here wondering why we're standing in the rain next to someone's grave." he answers.

connie ran into the kitchen where Sasha usually was with niccolo.
"Sasha! I proposed to..." he trailed off when he realized it was just niccolo and that sasha was gone.
"If you need Sasha, she's in heaven." niccolo said.
"right." connie sat down in one of the chairs and rested his face in his hands.
"but if you need y/n, they're at her grave. they said they wanted to tell sasha something." Niccolo spoke up, continuing to make seafood. specifically the first seafood sasha ever had.

"sasha? i know you're there, somewhere, out there looking down at me. i came to visit, and tell you that..."
*SNIFF*
"remember when you teased me about how me and connie acted like a married couple? well now it's soon-to-be-married-couple. are you happy?"
*GASP*
'i just felt something on my shoulder...'
i turn around to see if it was connie, but nobody was there.
"was that you sasha?"
*SOB*
