Hyejin POV
The next few days, as my body rejuvenated, I resumed working at the bar. It was the best way to keep myself distracted.
But it wasn't long before trouble struck again.
Today afternoon, I was in my kitchen helping myself to a lot of warm porridge, when my door was slammed open by the one and only Seungwoo along with an unfit Seungsik panting for oxygen.
"Sheesh what is it that you had to barge in here?" I ask, cleaning my table where the porridge from my spoon had spilt.
"You have to see this." Seungwoo replies slamming a paper on my table.
Picking it up, my eyes widen as I read through it.
"No way" I whisper under my breath.
"Yes way, you need to hide now, and we need to hide now as well. Oh god, what do we do? Hyejin what now?" Seungsik rambles.
"First, calm down. Second, I... I think I should just go to Cleivos and well... well take my place."
"But you know you don't want that." Seungsik adds.
"I know, but it's better than putting your lives into risk, I'll just go back to my old life."
"Maybe... maybe we could run away to a far away land, that way he won't find you." Seungsik suggests.
I just chuckle at his suggestion.
"As much as I would love to run away from here, It's about time I accepted my fate, I'll always a royal by blood even if I am rebel by nature." I give them a sad smile. "I'll just pack up my necessities and hit the road soon. It'll be easier for me to travel at night."
"We'll help." Seungwoo agrees.
Wig the help of the two males. I pack up only my bare essentials, since it would be a burden to carry a heavy lot.
As sunset arrived, I was ready.
"No matter what happens you'll always have a place here with us." Seungsik says, hugging me and Seungwoo joins in as well. "We'll be waiting for you, send us a letter when you get there."
"Thanks guys, for sticking with me. I'm glad I have such great friends." I smile at them and then around. Without looking back, I walk forward, praying to reach Cleivos in one piece.
