"When is he coming over again?!"
You placed your hand on your temple when you heard your mom's surprise news to you. After the conversation, you put down your phone and sulked on your office table.
"Y/N, is everything okay?" Kun approached you after noticing your frustrated expression.
"My brother will be staying with me for like two weeks."
"Oh, that's great! You get to spend time with your family."
"I don't think it's a good idea. He literally bullies me every chance he gets."
"What if this time he missed you and decides to stop being mean to you?"
"That's impossible, Kun." You lightly laughed while thinking of a scenario you know would never happen.
—
"Y/N noona! I missed you soooo much!"
You almost froze when he hugged you after finding each other at the train station where you've been waiting.
"Donghyuck, take it easy, kid." Ten tried to get his attention, but the younger seemed not to hear anything.
It's not easy to admit it, but you missed your brother so much too. You hugged him back and thanked the heavens that for the first time, Donghyuck was acting like a real brother to you.
"Ten hyung! It's great to see you!"
"Finally you noticed me. It's great to see you too! You've grown up too fast!"
"He literally grew way ahead of you, right?" Of course, you didn't want to miss the opportunity of teasing your bestfriend.
"You know what, I regret waking up early in the morning just to go here with you." Ten glared at you. Again, mission accomplished.
"Come on, quit being bitchy." You chuckled while grabbing Ten's arm. "Let's eat. I'm sure Hyuck's hungry. My treat."
Ten's smile returned. You then lead the way out of the station with your brother and your bestfriend following you while having their loud conversation together.
—
You went straight back home after eating together. Donghyuck got tired from the trip and Ten was sleepy. In summary, both were not fun anymore.
As you got off the elevator on the 12th floor, the three of you met Jungwoo and Mark.
"Jungwoo!" Ten looked so excited seeing your neighbor.
Jungwoo paused walking to check who called him. Mark followed, curious as to who Ten was.
"Hey, I didn't get the chance to thank you for taking care of Y/N last week."
"Ah, it's nothing." Jungwoo gave a shy smile.
You noticed Donghyuck staring at Jungwoo, then staring back at you curiously.
"Guys, this is my brother, Donghyuck." You broke the silence. "That's Jungwoo, my neighbor. And that's Mark, his bestfriend." You almost whispered to Donghyuck.
Donghyuck nodded and smiled. Still excited, Ten approached the two men and introduced himself to Mark. The exchange of greetings took up some time more than you expected, but you were somehow glad that your circle of friends were finally starting to get along well. Donghyuck's expression was pleasant as well. You know it's a good sign.
—
Donghyuck's stay at your place was not bad at all. Sometimes you still find it strange that your dear brother has matured and stopped bullying and annoying you.
