April stood at her desk, organizing a few stray papers.
A commotion sounded from the hallway, so she glanced at the door.
Suddenly, April heard a sound. A farmiliar sound heard from close by.
A bright, genuine smile spread across her face. She knew that sound.
April hurried into the hallway and waited. Click, click, click.
The boots hit the floor in a steady rythm.
Her smile grew wider as the figure turned the corner.
"Elizabeth!"
"April!"
April ran forward and met her friend in a tight hug, her strawberry blonde hair cascading into a heap.
You would think they hadn't seen each other for ten years, not one month.
Immediately, Elizabeth's skin turned a lighter shade of green.
Once they pulled away, April said, "And you brought company!"
In fact, Kristin and Idina had been standing there with a knowing look in their eyes.
"Kristin, Idina, Walker, meet April A.K.A. Glanda," Elizabeth introduced. "April, you know who they are."
"It's great to finally meet you!" Kristin exclaimed.
"Trust me, i feel way more honored!" April told.
"Who are you?" Walker asked in a squeaky voice.
"My name is April, but you can call me Glanda!" April suggested.
Just then, two seventh grade girls walked up to them.
"BBFISBALSNCLZNALFNKDNKSNDNSNSMSKDJFJKCKDKDKDYOU'RE IDINA MENZEL AND KRISTIN CHENOWETH!!" The blonde said.
"AND YOU'RE WALKER! AND YOU'RE THAT PERSON THAT SAVED IDINA'S LIFE! I KNOW YOU!" The brunette exclaimed.
"ALYSSA! DON'T FREAK OUT!" The blonde told, shaking the other's shoulders.
"YOU DON'T FREAK OUT, MICAELA!" Alyssa yelled.
"WAIT! DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS! MY TEACHER IS GLANDA!" Micaela shouted.
"NFJENSKFJVKSKAKSLAPD! DON'T FREAK OUT ALYSSA!"
With a little bit of help, the girls were pushed away from the group.
"I've never seen Micaela act so loud!" April muttered. "She's the perfect Elphaba!"
"But she's blonde," Elizabeth commented.
"So were you," April pointed out.
"And the other one seems like a perfect Glinda," Kristin added.
"Anyway...I can't believe you are finally back!" April exclaimed.
"I know! I'm sorry i left like that," Elizabeth murmered, looking down at her feet before looking into her friend's eyes.
"It's okay, you just wanted to help Idina," April assured.
"I can't believe i let that turn out like Defying Gravity!" Elizabeth groaned.
"Well for once, one good deed went unpunished."
"So far."
"Anyway!" April continued, looking at Kristin, Walker, and Idina, realizing they were just standing there awkwardly. "What now?"
"Uhhhh..."
"Won't the shooters come back?" Kristin asked.
"Most likely," Elizabeth voiced. "When they find out our location, that is."
"Then we should prepare. Where do we want to be when they come? Outside, at someone's house, at this school?" Idina advised.
"I say I go on as usual as if you weren't here while you prepare for them to come," Aril suggested.
"That's a good idea!" Kristin agreed.
"So is it decided then? You continue teaching and we prepare?" Elizabeth asked.
"How exactly will we prepare?" Idina wondered.
"Wel for us, it's magic, but for you, i guess the only way for you to fight is with...weapons," Elizabeth realized.
"What?" Both Kristin and Idina exclaimed.
"I promise, that will only happen if there is nothing left, but you still need to be prepared. Remember, they have guns," Elizabeth pointed out.
Once everyone agreed (deciding to keep Walker hidden), they started walking down the hallway.
Suddenly, a group of girls, most likely popular girls, walked up to them.
"Who are you?" One said in a snobby voice, nodding towards Idina and Kristin.
"What did you say?" Elizabeth shreaked.
"Oh no," April muttered.
She had to physically hold her fried back to keep her from pouncing on the girls, who just rolled their eyes and walked away.
"Do you teach them?" Elizabeth snarled.
"It is best not to tell you," April replied, getting her things from her room and walking out the door.
