[POV Moblit]

The shift was coming to an end, I caressed my forehead and closed my eyes as the flickering light from the hanging lamps hit my eyes, slowly opening them and taking a look to my daily work space, it was composed by some white tables metal stools, also some chemistry products, test tubes and so on, I heard steps coming from the hall way , as they hit the cold ceramic floor, voices were heard "I think their still there" said a male voice "yeah I can't believe the C.E.O accepted their idea it's quite crazy" said another voice as their solid shoe sole hit the floor, they walked pass my door, I wasn't looking but I heard the steps pass through my laboratory , then I hear a soft nock on the open door, It was the male voice, my workmate. Nile, he was more into the security stuff when we were in highschool so it didn't surprise me when I found out he worked as a security guard in the company, "I think they falled sleep in their office" said Nile, "I thought you could check out on them, you know...Just in case" I heavily sighted, "Yeah I will, I just need to finish these reports....thank you for telling me" "yeah I know how of a hardhead Hange can be, anyways, see you the next week" he said as he waved at me walking towards the door and then it was silent again I took a heavy breath as I finished writing the reports.

Little time skip

I took a peek into the lab as I slowly turned the door knob, they were sleeping on a stool with their lab coat still on, their head was resting on their crossing arms, I saw that they were resting over some papers, well I'd rather say a Lot of papers they were all piled up across the table with illegible writing, they had their hair up on a weirdly done ponytail, I was debating myself on waking them up or let them sleep, the past few weeks have been crazy for them, the C.EO. of the company accepted their proposal of creating an antioxidant-for food made of cranberry juice, but gave them a very tight deadline, since they are the leader of our team, they were in charge of basically everything, knowing them, I doubt they slept barely anything, they've been like that since college where I met them for the first time, they were in the top ten of our curse, they could've been in the first 3 if it wasn't for them being so reckless.
One time they almost set the school lab on fire, they would've been expelled if it wasn't for me, I told them someone else mixed the products (which was a lie) I hate lying but it was also a bit of my fault for letting them (I, myself was curious of what the result would be), the same here, they would be in a higher position  if it wasn't for them being so careless, I got absorbed in thought and I snapped when I heard them groan, as they turned their head and now were facing me, I was right, they had enourmous eye bags but they looked so calm, I felt my lips twirl a bit upwards, I carefully pat their shoulder "Hange.. Hange!"
They suddenly wake up, mumbling something about experiments "Uh, Moblit! Hello, I think I falled sleep while writing the report hehe.." they suddenly snap "Shit! What time is it?" I looked at my phone "it's 9:30 pm" "Shut! I wanted to tell the C.E.O about the new advances on my theory" they made a pout face and crossed their arms in disgust, I contained a chuckle "I already sent him an email" I said on a tired tone "Thank you Moblit! You're the best!" "I'm your assistant, Hange, that's what I get paid for, but you know you can always count on me".

[Hange's POV]

I was trying to dry a cranberry to reduce the time of coction when making the antioxidant, I started writing on my observation notes, but then the I laid on my arms over the table and the next thing I remember it's hearing a mellifluous voice, it was Moblit standing besides me, he's been a good friend, he's been there for me since we were in college, everybody laughed when I talked about my theories but Moblit didn't, he instead tried to understand them and he always supports me, and for that I am grateful, I've been too careless of my well being lately and I knew I was about to get scolded for it,
"You know it's bad for your health to not sleep the amount of hours you need!"
I sighed. "Yes, sorry I got too excited, you know I can't fight the frisson that I feel whenever I start a new project"
He analysed me for a second and gave me a worried look, "Okay, I'll let it slide, at least, Have you been eating properly?"
I shrugged on my seat as I looked to the white ceramic ground "uhh...yeah, about that.."
He caressed his forhead, "Hange you can't keep doing this, you worry me!"
"Let's go" he said after a pause, walking off towards the door whilist I gave him a clueless look, "uh? Where?" I said in a ludic tone slightly tilting my body on my seat.
"to get YOU something healthy to eat"
"Yeah, but where? Everything it's closed by this time"
"I'm making something for you" he said in a worried tone, as he walked out of the office. I quickly rushed towards him while taking off my lab coat and tossing it somewhere in the room. "you're cooking for me? WAIT you know how to cook?" I said with a Jubilant tone while trying to catch up with his walking.

[Third person pov]
They got into Moblit's car, a gray Mazda from the 2019, it wasn't the most opulent car but he didn't mind while it could take him everywhere he needed to be.
Moblit was on the driver's sit while Hange hopped in the passenger seat. Moblit gave a concern look at the noceur brunette before driving off the parking lot.
They drived a few through some streets, Hange looked lost in thought and Moblit wondered what would they be thinking about, after a few red lights they stoped in Walmort.
Moblit got out off the car and told Hange to wait in the car while he bought some stuff, as he walked off, Hange let out a breath they didn't know were holding

They leaned against the window and looked up to the hazy sky, it was raining soflty and as drops tinted the surface of the car, hange watched the tiny drops running down through her window.

Sirimiri.

The word suddenly crossed their mind, Moblit likes to investigate eccentric words with common meanings, and he would tell them about it.

They also remebered another word.

Without them noticing, tears started forming in their eyes and the Shining sign that wrote "Walmort" became blurry , they buried their body in the car seat, with their hands crossed over their stomach simulating a hug; clinging their nails against their skin and their lips had begin to quiver, but then they saw Moblit quickly rushing to the car, they rushed to fix their hair, wiped off the tears and tried showing off their best smile. Moblit entered to the car placing the bags in the back seats and then placing his attention in the Steering wheel "Did you find everything you needed? said Hange in the most exited tone they could manage to formulate right now, as they leaned over a bit.
"yeah I think that will be enough" said Moblit with a weak smile, starting the car
Hange felt some goosebumps on her skin, since it was pouring harder now, and they were only wearing a turtle neck and brownish office pants
Moblit noticed this and placed his blue suit over Hange's shoulder
They turned their head a bit surprised "Oh Moblit it's not neccesary-" Moblit interrupt them "Yes it Is" he said frowning a bit, Hange suddenly felt bad, they were and adult and were supossed to take care of themselves and now they had Moblit worried about them.
The weight in their chest became heavier. It did was kind of nice to know they had someone that cared about them
A veil of silence fell over them, It wasn't an awkward one , it was welcoming and warm, the soft music and the sound of the rain could be heard, that was what Hange enjoyed more of being with Moblit, it was never boring even if they were in silence.
