I left the school doors heading onto the road, and right opposite the school into the town's botanic gardens. The rows of various species of trees and flora circled a tall, old weeping willow which stood by the side of a small pond, it's leaves barely brushing the ground, so thick you couldn't see in. I went to stay in it's shade for a while, at least until all the commotion in my head clears.
I pulled back the leaves stepping into the shade and let it fall. Pressing my back against the trunk, I slunk to the ground, gazing at the noon sunlight filtering through the leaves, a view that was serene, but my mind refused to let itself bask in the scenery. I'm not usually one to ditch school or friends, but my mind was like a tumultuous storm, waves of different emotions crashing into me, leaving my head pounding and struggling to breathe.
This time it wasn't the nagging fear of an eerie stalker that was on my mind, but the words of warning left by Viktor. If it were any other day, I wouldn't have given the slightest damn, but today wasn't like any other day. Today began with a nightmare followed by a terrifying encounter of a person or thing watching me. Following it I was still unable to tell anyone about what I saw, Fallon too busy showing Elle around. Viktor's antics were just the cherry on top in making my bad day worse. 'What's with him anyway? '. Since the day I came he was hostile, I've never seen him ever genuinely smile, just the same arrogant smirk permanently plastered on his stupidly attractive face.
'Ew, not attractive, just aesthetically appealing', I corrected myself.
This isn't about him, he's always been like this, well not so forward and intimidating, that was new. I was struggling to put my thoughts in order. 'Ugh', the lack of sleep was getting to me. I lay beneath the tree, closing my eyes blocking out all thoughts of stalkers, and rivals before drifting onto merciful dreamless sleep.

The raven haired girl was unaware of the still figure creeping towards her, removing the tree's drooping leaves before crouching in front of her, mask up, all distinguishing features non-existent save for pale red eyes and near-transparent skin. The crouched figure took out a gloved hand gripping onto a letter before laying it in front of the sleeping girl, disappearing the same way they arrived.
