Chapter 1The alarm clock rang and I rised out of bed. Today was my first day of my senior year. I was the only girl in a family of five older brothers so my house was very noisy in the morning; well actually at all times it was loud. When I was born my mom was so happy to finally have a daughter. But, when I grew up she was disappointed. I am not a girly girl. I like black. Not only that I hangout with the "wrong crowd". That is what my so called mother calls my friends. She wanted a goody-two-shoes-popular-princess daughter. Plus the only way I'll wear a dress is if it is a dark color like black. So anyways that is my life. I grabbed my dark gray Paramore shirt and put it on with my dark blue ripped skinny jeans, black combat boots, and black leather jacket. I straightened my long black hair and applied my makeup. I outlined my bright blue eyes in black eyeliner and mascara. After getting ready I ran out of my room and down stairs grabbing my motorcycle keys and drove to the high school.
" Mak, what's up," Alex called across the courtyard.
"Not much, you," I said walking up to her and my friends.
I heard a commotion across the courtyard and saw Jamie Sawyer running her hand up and down Eric's chest. He had the most disgusted look I have ever seen splayed across his face. I growled and stalked over to them and grabbed the back of Jamie's jean jacket and pulled her to the ground. I leaned down and punched her in the nose and it cracked and broke gushing blood.
"Don't you ever touch my twin brother again unless you want more damage done to your not so pretty face," I said spitting on her. "I don't want him getting your STDs."
I walked back to my friends laughing. Looks like she is going to need another nose job because of me. We walked into the building and people were patting me on the back and cheering. Everyone hates Jamie. The bell rings for first period which means its time to get our new schedules. We rushed to the library to get our schedules for the first semester.
"Last name," Ms. James asked.
"Jackson," I replied.
"Eric or MaKayla," she stupidly questions.
I said in a duh tone, "Do I look like a boy to you? I'm MaKayla."
When the eight of us had our schedules we compared them. I had my friends in my classes as is:
1st-Music-Matt, Alex, Logan
2nd-Calculus-Vic, Logan
3rd-Dance-Logan
4-Art IV-Vic, Dylan, Matt, Logan
5-Writing-Alex, Zane, Logan
Lunch-Alex, Halle, Zane, Dylan, Logan, Matt, Vic
Free-Band Practice-Zane, Dylan, Logan
Free-Zane, Dylan, Logan
Free- Zane, Dylan, Logan
"We all have the same lunch," Logan exclaimed.
"Yeah. I then have no classes afterwards," I replied.
"Neither do I," Zane, Dylan, and Logan exclaimed.
Surprised I said, "okay. You guys good with having band practice right after lunch during our first free period?"
"Hell yeah," they replied happily.
"Dude wanna skip calculus with me," I whispered to Logan.
He smiled warmly and whispered back, "On the first day? Hell yeah let's go."
We snick out the back door of the school and ran to Logan's car he has a 1960 red mustang. Still not as cool as my 1969 black convertible camaro with white racing stripes and red Harley-Davidson softail rocker c. We drove out of the school parking lot and to the lake.
