Muggle AU (Harry goes to a muggle school, he's in Sirius' care. None of them are wizards/werewolves)
Sirius and Remus don't know each other.

"Sirius please!!!" Harry begged his god father. Sirius sighed and grabbed the tie from the bed, "Fine, but only because I want to impress that teacher of yours," Harry smiled widely and helped Sirius put on his black tie.

"We better go," harry said racing out the door to grab his coat, Sirius couldn't remember being this excited for a middle school dance before in his life, but he was happy Harry was happy.

(When they get there)

It was an odd event for sure, usually middle school dances allowed parents to stay in the parking lot, but this one required the parents/who ever was taking care of them, to come inside and also dance around.

You could tell most of the kids there didn't like the idea one bit, especially Ron Weasley, he had a look of fear plastered on his face from watching his parents relive their middle school days.

"You sure this isn't to embarrassing?" Sirius asked, Harry shook his head and grabbed a cup of punch. "I don't mind it" he said and flashed his god father a smile. Sirius nodded and looked around, he was debating wether or not to go talk to the other parents or just sit down.

"Look look!" Harry punched Sirius arm to get his attention. Sirius was about to scold him for that, but looked at who Harry was going on about. And there he was. The famous Remus Lupin. A teacher Harry had been terribly found of since he started middle school. He talked about him everyday.

Sirius blushed as Harry grabbed his hand and dragged him over to his favorite teacher. "Mr Lupin!" Harry said happily when they approched him. Remus looked over and smiled, "Oh hello Harry, I'm good to see you here” he said and looked at Sirius. "And you must be Mr. Black? Harry tells me so much about you," he said and gave him a soft smile.

Sirius nudged Harry's arm a bit, Harry snickered and looked around. "Well I gotta go hang out with Ron and Hermione!" Harry said pulled away from Sirius. Remus chuckled, "Have fun Harry" he said and watched as the small boy left.

"Well, Mr. Black," Sirius chuckled, "you can just call me Sirius," he said and rubbed the back of his neck. Remus nodded, "Well then, you can call me Remus." He said. The two stayed in silence for a little while, it wasn't awkward one bit, it was actually somewhat nice.

Soon a slow song started to play, Remus and Sirius heard a collection of happy gasps and annoyed groans. They couldn't help but laugh at them silently. "Most of the students hate slow songs," Remus said looking around at the students dancing, "Usually they don't play them, but with it being one of the last dances, they deiced to." Sirius listened to Remus explain it lile it was the last thing he would ever hear.

"Do you want to dance?" Remus asked our of the blue, Sirius felt his cheek glowing red. "I-i uh-" he felt like a dumbass stuttering like this. Remus chuckled and put his drink down, "You don't have to," he said and stepped closer to Sirius. Sirius bad finally gained his charm back, he wrapped one arm around the others waist and smirked. "Who said I didn't want to?" He asked starting to sway the both of them softly.

Remus wrapped his arms around the black haired man's neck and pulled them closer. "Then let's dance," he said quietly. Sirius smiled and wrapped both of his arms around him, pulling his closer.

Harry smiled brightly and took a quick picture of the two, Hermione giggled a little, "They look so cute," she said looking at the photo Harry had taken. Ron made a fake gagging sound, "They look like my mum and dad," he said and shook his head. Harry rolled his eyes, "You're just upset because nobody wants to dance with you," Hermione said crossing her arms.

Ron sighed, "You're right...." Harry frowned, "I'll dance with you Ron" he teased, Ron scoffed. "You don't even know how to dance-" he said and glared at him. They all started to laugh.
