Cooking with Xingqiu and Chongyun!

I promise y/n isnt annoying in this fanfic

On a hot, summer day after the whole Golden Apple Archipelago situation, you were walking down the streets of Liyue, enjoying the happy atmosphere. You see two familiar boys, each with a popsicle looking at a book together.
"Xingqiu! Chongyun!" You call out to them.
"Mm? What's up y/n?" Asks Xingqiu.
"What are you guys reading?" You ask.
Xingqiu holds up the book. The title was "The Boar Princess"
"Oh cool, what's it about?" You question.

You walk in the middle of Xingqiu and Chongyun as they explain what the book is about. Suddenly your stomach rumbles. 'Oh no...' you think, 'maybe they didn't notice...'
"Oh, y/n, are you hungry?" Asks Chongyun. Xingqiu whips his head to look at him, his eyes wide.
'NOO!! THEY DID HEAR!' You think.
"Uh.. just a bit," you say.
"Oh, really? Your stomach was really loud th-" before Chongyun could finish, Xingqiu came up from behind and covered his mouth with his hands.
"We'll just make you some food, how about that, y/n?" He suggests.
"Sure..." you say but you were actually pretty unsure... considering they had.. little experience with cooking.

About half an hour later, you find yourself sitting in the kitchen of the Wanmin restaurant while Xingqiu and Chongyun argue over what to make.
"Why not crystal shrimp? It's a pretty cold dish..."
"Yes, but still... cold noodles are just... better..."
"What if the crystal shrimp was the side dish and the cold noodles was the main dish?"
"Sounds good to me..." they both paused, nodded, and then got straight to work. There was a lot of clanking, a few crashes, the sound of a fire starting—wait what?! Oh, it was just the stove... you couldn't stop yourself from thinking they were causing some sort of disaster, but you couldn't blame yourself either. After awhile, they presented you with delicious looking very cold looking noodles, and some not-so-crystal-y shrimp dumplings. You start with the cold noodles... and they were really good! Then you go on to the shrimp dumplings. As you chew, the boys look at you with anticipation. Finally, you speak. "It's really good but..." they stare at you harder. "Where are the carrots?" You look at the crystal shrimp. Xingqiu looks around before slowly replying, "What carrots?" You look at the recipe he used. "The carrots."
"Oh..." He replies, "The carrots, haha! I forgot about the carrots! The carrots aren't that important anyways." Chongyun is eyeing the trash can while smirking. You already knew what they were up to, but didn't really care, instead you focused on eating.
