Perched on top of the Bank of America building, Purple loomed over the brightly colored city. The moon pinged off his armor as it shown through the sky. Dallas beckoned Purple to jump. Despite the hunter's fear, the offer was inticing. He stepped off the ledge and back onto more comfortable ground. His breathing was quick and uneasy. Fear. The blue lenses on the helmet look back to the ledge. It longed for that taste of excitement, the same excitement he saw his hero have when he swung through the busy streets of New York. Purple took in a deep breath. Then he exhaled. In and out. In and out. In and out. He bolted towards the ledge with purple electricity following behind. His foot dug into the ledge causing it to crack under the pressure. Then, he lept.
Purple hung in the sky for about two seconds. And within those two seconds he saw beauty. The calmness that seemed to be enthralled within this city screamed at him. The bright lights, the cars zooming past, the planes he could hear off in the distance, and the way the moon seemed to bounce off the city reminded Purple of a painting.
The world began pulling him back. His jacket flapped widely as the wind pushed against it. His hood was thrusted over his head as he continued to fall. Purple leaned back allowing himself the privilege to see everything as he drew closer to it. A chuckle escapes him. It's so beautiful, he thinks to himself. He crosses one leg over the other, positioning his hands on the back of his head. This couch was comfy, he thought. He felt at ease now. Purple closed his eyes, allowing himself to be lost in the music of the city.
