"Well, at least tell me about yourself," Hordak said.
"Wellll, I'm 25, too, I'm a scientist... oh! I'm autistic. I have my service dog, Emily, who helps me with my meltdowns and panic attacks. I have really bad sensory issues. She also helps me with my anxiety, too,"Entrapta explained.
"What the hell is a service dog?" Hordak asked. Entrapta was confused. "Do you not have service dogs in 1970?"
"I believe not," he answered.
"Oh! Well, they're just dogs who help people with disabilities. Some of them help people who are blind, some of them help people who are deaf, some of them help people who have anxiety- ya know, all that stuff," Entrapta explained with a smile. Hordak hummed in acknowledgment once he understood.
"What about you? Tell me about yourself!" Entrapta exclaimed excitedly.
Hordak sighed as he tried to think of what to say. "Well, as I said earlier, I'm 25. Uh, I am also a scientist... I like to sketch. Surprisingly I'm a cat person; have a cat named Imp. I am not a very interesting person."
"Everyone is interesting to me. Tell me more," Entrapta encouraged. Hordak sighed again.
"I do not know."
"How can you not know about yourself?"
That made Hordak sigh again, mostly in frustration. Because he wasn't and interesting person, and she wouldn't be interested in him. He did nothing all day. He was a lonely individual just trying to get through the days. What else was he supposed to say about himself?
"Well, since you're not gonna say anything else I guess we can change the subject," Entrapta told him on defeat.
There was silence on the other end, and then some rustling and then some inaudible sounds.
"I have to go. My father is home," Hordak explained hurriedly, "Goodbye, Entrapta."
"Bye, Hordak!"
After he hung up, Entrapta sighed. Even just a few more minutes on the phone with him would've been good. Maybe he would call again once his father left? Hopefully he would. She was tiring being alone all day. Well, except for Emily, of course.
Entrapta went over to pet her dog who was sitting by her bed.
