Ringing the bell, I waited for door to open but no one showed up.Maybe no one is at home even Gauri said that she was going today at her friend's house.

Opening the door with my spare key. I entered the house. Closing the door behind, I entered the hall keeping the carry bag on the table I seated on the couch resting my head on the couch, closing my eyes I relaxed myself.

Suddenly there was a loud sound.                                              BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

'Stop irritating me Aru'. Says Anika with eyes closed.

'Yarr, this is not fair Tai. I know you can't get scared but atleast pretend. So much efforts I take to plan and execute the things, but you don't even try to pretend being scared. This time I have even kept my bag packs inside the room. How did you got to know? Did Pillu di spelled out the beans? If so, I am not going to leave her.' Says a frustrated Aru.

'Nope Pillu didn't said a word. I just figured it out. Every summer vacation you are here, then why not this time. Your arrival was expected. Also, your Aatu (Aunt) informed me about your arrival.' Says Anika giving a smile to the defeated Aru

'So, you don't need to be mad at her. And about why didn't I got jump scare then have a look on the table.'

'And at what I should exactly look at?'

'Your Rubik's cube is on the table'

'OOOHHH SHITTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!Fine I will take care next time.' Says Aru

"Yeah, you need to really work on your 'SUPRISING SKILLS' and Pillu nice try but better luck next time." States Anika.

'How did you got to know that?' Says Gauri coming from behind the couch.

'Yours movements are reflected on the tv screen.'

'Tai are you detective or something? How come do you notice all this minute things' asks a curious Gauri

'Well, I am the daughter of a police officer who solves criminal cases. So, detective skills flow in my blood'. Says Anika proudly.

'As if I am not.' Says Gauri with a frown.

'Pillu you are too innocent to be that. But if you want to be one, you need to wait, as time teaches you everything. By the way, you did not go to your friend's house. What happened?' Asks Anika.

'Tai, how can I leave our Aru Sheth (Sir) here alone and go. Aai has went to school 15 mins ago, she got a call for some signatures or something. Even Aaji-Azoba is not here. Azoba has gone to meet his friend, while Aaji has gone to mandir. It has become a long time since they have gone. I think they will be here in 30-45 minutes. Replies Gauri.

'By the way, you again skip your, lunch why do you do it?' Ask Gauri

'I am really sorry about that. Actually, I forgot. And about coming early to home that was not possible. Anyway, unpack the snacks, I am going to freshen up. And the reason why I have brought these, I will tell after coming.' Says Anika before going to freshen up.

Few minutes Later

All are munching their snacks and enjoying the divine taste.

'Hey Aaru, forgot to ask, how are you? How is Sonu, and Aaka(grandmother/Nani) and what about Sunil mama (Uncle)? Why he did not wait till today, he was having holiday today right? He could have gone early tomorrow.' Says Anika.
