CHAPTER 27
HomeWarm naked bodies under the soft fabric, and the scent of after sex still lingering in the room. All in all, it was a beautiful morning to start their day.
"Good morning, baby," Sancho greeted huskily.
Ayla chuckled and closed her eyes again, pressing her body against his.
Well, I like it."
So that Victoria will be pissed even more.
Sancho laughed and caressed her face.
"You are the best thing that ever happened to me."
Hindi niya itinanggal ang pagkakatitig dito. Nanatili siyang tahimik sa pag-aakalang may idudugtong pa ito.
Nakangiti itong napakunot ng noo. "Don't you wanna say anything?"
"I mean it."
She shrugged. "I don't know. Am I really?"
He paused for awhile. "Syempre naman."
She sighed that had him worried.
"What's bothering you?"
She shook her head and traced the muscle definition of his shoulder.
"Your mom...she was right."
She heard him mumble, but she continued to speak.
"Because of me, you are not in Manila but here instead. If you're gonna tell me that it was your decision, yes, because I asked you to."
"Yes, you asked me. Pero hindi ko pinagsisihan 'yon. And I'm glad at pinigilan mo 'ko. "
I never regret staying here. And I would never ever regret that I chose you, I told you that already. And lastly, don't listen to Mama."
He smiled when she smiled, and she rested her head on his chest. Smile turning into a grin, she took his last words seriously, plotting something she knew she would have fun.
Sancho went to school, and she was left in the house with Victoria.
"I'm craving for menudo," she said as she sat on the chair at the dining.
"Why don't you cook for yourself?"
Natawa siya sa hangin. She fastened her hands and leaned on the table.
Anything I need...anything I want, Victoria."
Victoria smirked as she sipped her tea. "You're using Sancho now, huh? You know, I spent the whole night thinking about how you're making everything under your control. Maybe you're just using the baby para mapaikot kami ng anak ko. What a tactic, dear. And you do it so well," she said sarcastically.
"Wow, that's so thoughtful of you. You spent the whole night thinking about me. Meanwhile, I shared the whole hot night with your son. I don't know if you heard us, but yeah, you know what I mean," she finished her sentence with a smirk that made Victoria flush in irritation.
