"We will arrive at Seishinkayama soon. Please make sure that nothing is left behind and do not push against each other. Once again we inform—"
His eyes opened slowly, he growled softly as he felt the sunlight hit his eyes. The young man rubbed his eyes slowly and yawned softly; this young man named Ren Amano. He has blue eyes, and brownish black hair which he covers with a gray hoodie jacket and black mask that he wears over his mouth.
Ren still felt the bus wheels running on small stones, making him jump a little from his seat. Ren's blue eyes stared out of the window, he could see a beautiful view of rice fields and hills there.
He actually lived in big city with his mother, but three year ago his mother died because of an illness. Because he never know who his father was, and he didn't have any close family members to take care of him. So, his uncle, Shigeo Amano, decided to take him in. However, his uncle was very busy and had to spend days away from home because of his work. And so, he couldn't always be by his nephews' side.
The boy looked up at the sky, and sighed deeply. His uncle may seem like he doesn't care about him, but actually he still tries to be by his side.
Ren appreciates all of that.
But a few days ago, his uncle had to work outside the city for one year. To Ren's surprise, his uncle asked Ren if he would like to stay with his biological father for a year in Seishinkayama town.
A father he didn't even know was alive.
Would he really have the chance to see him? Would he really be able to talk to him?
He had no idea what kind of person his biological father was, or how he'd react when he saw him. Would he even want Ren around?
There were so many questions, and Ren didn't know the answer to any of them. He was nervous, a lot. But there was another part of him that was really looking forward to it.
Just as he was thinking about it, the bus came to a stop with a loud screech. Ren nearly fell off his seat from being startled. Then the driver announce that they had arrived at their destination.
Ren took his bag and slowly stood up. Put his mask back over his mouth before exiting the bus.
Those blue eyes stared at the small town in front of him.
The town of Seishinkayama, this small town was actually very quite town, there were not many citizens. Even though the streets weren't that empty, not a lot of people were out and about at this time. There were several stores along the road, most of them sold handicrafts, souvernir and food. The natural scenery is well preserved, the town sure has a certain Olde-Japan-like vibe going on.
Ren took his cellphone in his pocket, his eyes now staring at his own cellphone screen. He remembered that his uncle had sent his father's residential address just in case his father doesn't pick his up.
Ren looked back at the street, he sighed and started walking again.
