Justice Is Served

Chapter 6

Lady Justice came to a halt when she neared the Eiffel tower. 

she saw the news vehicles make their way over.

she also knew she would see Ryuko at any moment.

"let us go Marinette!" Alya was begging at this point. they were so high up from the ground and she felt like she would slip through Marinette's silk-like hair

"Do you really think of me as a bad person?" Marinette asked not looking anywhere else but forward.

"yes! yes, I really do!" Alya said not quite thinking about the situation she was really in.

lady justice smirked slightly at the response. she watched as many cameras were all pointing towards her and people from different news channels reporting what was going on.

"you do huh?" she whispered. 

 Lila and Alya looked at each other, not sure what was about to happen.

then they were falling.

falling while Marinette was laughing as she flew down after them, her eyes go wide.

the surrounding crowd gasped as they watched the girls fall wondering where Chat Noir and ladybug were.

before they could fear the worse, however, Lady Justice was on the ground before them and caught the girls in her hair once more. 

she turned around and shot a flashing grin towards the cameras.

"hey paris~" she cooed waving at the camera. 

Nadja Chamack instantly stepped forward. lady justice didn't move as the reporter came to her with questions.

"Lady Justice?" she asked. she just nodded

"what is it that you're doing with these girls. I believe this is none other than the beloved Lila Rossi?" 

Marinette frowned for a moment but then smiled.

"yes this is Lila Rossi," she said letting the girls name roll off her tough in disgust. "she's the one who caused all of this"

"all of what may I ask?" said Nadja

"This!" Lady Justice chuckled.

she flicked her wrist and everyone who she had cast a spell of all appeared before them, still screaming in agony and pain.

the crowd gasped in shock and fear at the sight before them.

"oh, my" Nadja whispered as she took a couple of steps back. this is not what she expected to see. this is in fact the worse she has probably seen. most people before her were students. the tears and pain in most of their eyes had her shake a little.

she looked back up at Lady Justice's face. she couldn't help but feel like she recognized those eyes. she did not want to be right at her suspicion.

"w-why do you say that Ms Rossi is the cause f-for what you are doing?" Nadja asked hesitantly

"because" she began. she noticed Ryuko from the corner of her eye. " she's a filthy liar"

some of the crowd gasped again and some began whispering amongst themselves. they couldn't believe that the beloved Lila Rossi, one of Paris's young sweetheart's was labelled as a liar. 

"Liar! Lila is not-" Alya was cut off by the hair tightening around her more.

"what do you mean"? Nadja asked

"she threatened me about a year ago. saying that she would turn everyone against me," she said. "Lila made up many lies about me. about me being a bully. about me hurting her whenever I could when no one was looking. she even went to the extent of vandalism and made it look like I did it. I got expelled from my school because of her" Lady Justice seethed as her grip on both girls increased causing then to wheeze as her eyes began to glow blue slightly.
