SAPNAP POV

Sapnap and Karl jumped, startled by the sudden noise, they both looked at the door confusedly before looking back at each other.

"What was that?" Sapnap asked to Karl, who just shook his head "You have no idea either huh? Should we go check?" he was about to stand up when they saw Angela run inside the room with Ranboo.

"Stay here, I'll go get the others" she ordered in a serious tone before dashing back out. Sapnap noticed that Ranboo was shaking, so the two boys stood up and walked towards him.

"Ranboo, what happened? Are you ok?" he asked worried, receiving a shaky not in response "T-t-there's s-someone with a g-gun" Sapnap's eyes widened "You mean there's someone with a gun inside the building?!" he nodded.

A few seconds later the door opened again, drawing their attention, but they soon calmed down when they noticed it was just Angela, who shoved Tubbo inside the room before running back out.

"W-what is going on? What is Angela doing?" Tubbo asked confused, he was just dragged here by her without an explanation while playing in the recess area.

"H-her and the other doctors are trying to hide t-the patient in single rooms before locking them in, t-this way the a-attackers can't capture or hurt us"Ranboo explained.

"But that way they are gonna put themselves in danger!" Sapnap pointed out, he wanted to go out and help them, but Karl had a firm grip on his sleeve and had no intention of letting go.

"I'll be right back, I promise" Karl shook his head, hands shaking "Don't go, danger" 

"I know it's dangerous, but the others are still out there" as he said that, Ghostbur was added to the group.

"I want to help them" Karl pulled him away from the door "No" he said, his voice wavering a bit "Don't want to lose you... please" Sapnap hadn't grasped until now just how much Karl cared about him.

"Karl..."

They all jumped when a series of gunshot resonated throughout the building, causing them all to crouch and cover their heads in fear. Over the noise, they didn't notice that Angela was back, this time bringing both Techno and George before entering herself and locking the door, panting heavily.

"That was close" she breathed out, slumping down to a sitting position "Are you all alright? Any injuries?" she asked around, receiving a round of shaky nods.

"Angela what is really going on?" Sapnap asked seriously.

"Remember that shooting at the amusement park? Apparently the remaining two terrorists came here now, a few patient who were present at the time recognized them and alerted everyone, giving us time to bring you to safety" she said, checking to make sure she had locked the door.

"What?! Wh-" she immediately hushed him, placing a hand over his mouth "Quiet down you idiot! They'll hear us!" she whisper-yelled.

"Listen everyone, I know that you are all scared, but I promise you it's gonna be alright" she tried to keep a steady voice and put on a forced smile so look reassuring.
