'Come on maddi!!!! It's an easy hit go for it don't let anyone bring you down!!' My best friend Chelsea yells from the last base. It was absolutely impossible I can't hit a ball if my life depended on it! Oh come on! Why did I have to be the last batter that holds the game! I would have to hit it out of the park for it to actually let me run a full home run. I sigh mentally and try to focus on the ball. I watch the ball flying through the air towards me I swing and miss groaning inwardly as coach yells 'strike 1' I try and focus. Eye on the ball I tell myself repetitively. I hear a low snicker behind me from the girl that was destined to win the game and at the same time ruin my life. 'Loser' I hear her whisper loud enough for the girls around her and only for me to hear I turn around looking at the girls that were cracking up laughing. Idiots. Just then the pitcher decides to throw and got me in the head with the ball ok enough is enough. I focus on the ball steadying my breathing and pretend that it was the snob that called me the loser behind me. I watch it rolling spinning in circles in my direction I steady my arm and swing with all my might smacking the ball far enough for a home run!!! I almost forget to run but don't and start running crazily I touch first base, second, third on my way to becoming a champion I see the ball being thrown towards the person the base but I slide just in time making a full home run!!!!!!!! And the crowd goes wild I think I'm going to have an anxiety yes I actually did it and I thought It was impossible😊
