Chapter 8: WITCH PUNISHMENT. Part 3: special detention

Kiarah and Daeren's special detention begins.

They are separated from Lily, Rune and Ella who spent their detention reading books in a room, sometimes Professor Lockhart would assign them chores like arranging his books, cleaning the classroom.

They often hiked Hogsmeade with Hagrid to purchase materials needed for potions or botany classes.

Most of their detention Daeren and Kiarah spend it with Professor Dinklage who takes over the Muggle Studies classes.

For the start of this particular detention, the professor calls Kiarah and Daeren into his office.

He tells them to put down their wands and put on civilian clothes.

Once changed, the 2 students notice that the teacher has also changed clothes.

They look at each other wondering what this detention will consist of.

The teacher shows them the example by taking a floo powder, enters the fireplace in his office, says a sentence he gives to the students and disappears in blue smoke.

Kiarah and Daeren follow the teacher's example.

They reappear in the bedroom of a small apartment that seems to be in the basement.

The professor leads them outside and to their great surprises, they find themselves in the streets of a city... Muggle.

They blend in perfectly with the crowd and the teacher leads them in front of an establishment... more precisely, an orphanage.

"Professor" asks Kiarah "What did we come here to do?"

"Good question, Miss Han. This is an orphanage. Our goal is to soften your heart full of hatred and revenge with the company of children. In other words, getting used to the presence of Muggles in order to learn to be tolerant."

Kiarah stares at the establishment and the teacher.

She spits in front of the door and turns back.

"Turn around Miss Han. For the next 3 hours you are not allowed to use or talk about magic. You are a willing person who has decided to use your free time for social work."

"Take care of some Muggle? Never!"

"Either it is that or it is the dismissal. Understand that if we take the time to put these arrangements in place for you, it is because we remain hopeful that you can change before making the decision to fire you."

Kiarah stands still... pondering the consequences of her actions.

"Depending on the nature of your activities and progress here, you may be able to shorten your detention and earn points for your house."

At the mention of this sentence, Daeren reacts.

At the same time, a lady comes out of the main door and smiles at the sight of Professor Dinklage.

"I need to talk to the headmistress. Try to convince her, Mr. Blackwood. Join me in 15 minutes."

Kiarah remains standing in front of the gate.

"Come on Aria, we're going to earn points for our house."

"How many times have I told you not to call me Aria?!?!"

"Okay. Sorry. Kiarah."

"It's better and I remind you that it is you who made us lose 200 points so you go for it."

"Now, are we talking about it?" I lost Slytherin 200 points, but whose fault, is it?"

"Are you suggesting it's my fault?"
